Not bad. Much better!
I haven't played this course since 2005 and back then it was a nightmare. I played there for the first time in nearly 10 years, and it was like night and day. Granted, the course was packed with a tournament and lots of outside play being that it was beautiful out and the Browns were off this week. I was paired up with a three ball that was the nicest people ever. One of them was an employee of Twin Lakes (Tony) so we swapped war stories of being in the golf business. It was packed and slow, but the staff did a phenomenal job getting people out. Sometimes, you can't control it. But what a great job by the staff! The course itself is a work in progress. Much better than a few years ago. The greens need a little more work, but they were ok. We didn't finish all 18 holes due to daylight, but the 15 holes we played were very nice. Special thanks to the staff once again!
Jay at Highland
I like going to the course.
It's in my old neighborhood and it's always a good time with friends. Could use some improvements on on the course..
9 Holes
I'm kind of nude golfing. But every time I play at highland it's a good time. A lot of my friends go there and we meet up and we'll play anywhere from 9-16 holes. Also made some new friends by going there in golf.Love this course.
Sloooooow play
Way to many one and two person groups no one playing thru had 5 groups backed up on the red course on from nine. I switched to blue and after one hole was just as bad people need to learn how to wave people through or not play frustrating.
Very open
Open course allowed for good play. It was my friends second time golfing and this course played well for him. I did feel like there was a tremendous amount of sand on the greens, but other than that it was a nice course
Excellent Highland course
Great set up and staff top to bottom. Really turned this around this year.
A great course to play for the $$
Highland had made serious upgrades across the board and as a result it’s a great place to play a round of golf. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable and the course well maintained. Great job to get this course up to par again!
GREAT improvement to this course
I’ve played this course many times in the past. This is by far the best shape this course has been in my time my over 30 yrs of playing golf. Kudos to Matt and his entire staff!
18 Holes Specifically for Walkers
This course had a ton of walkers than my wife and I have seen. It’s almost as if one of the 18 holes should be specially for walkers or have them book tee times. Other than the pace of play it was good!
Getting Better
Continue to use this course for practice. Actually, the course is steadily improving. The Company running it seems to have converted it from an anything goes venue to a well disciplined operation.
