Drive It Straight
Variety of Distances and some Hard to read greens made it challenging the first time out Gotta good deal Will Definately be back
A golf gem!
You have to try Valleaire golf course. I played on a gorgeous October Sunday instead of watching the Cleveland Browns lose again. I was greeted by friendly staff working both inside and outside. The greens were in great shape and Very Fast! To add to our day, we got to be amongst the most beautiful fall colored trees! The lawn crew does a great job keeping the course in great shape. And the delicious hot dogs/sausages are bigger than the buns! You won't be disappointed with Valleaire.
Great old style course
This is an old-style course that is not pretty but really fun to play. Every staff member was so friendly and made you feel welcome. The conditions are not perfect (tee boxes barely had grass and the cart paths are worn out) but the course was challenging and made you hit every shot in your bag.
One note to all golfers who play here - fix your pitch marks on the greens! Every green had several pitch marks that were left alone. It's not that hard and if you don't know how to properly use your divot tool, ask someone. Golfers need to be more respectful to other golfers.
Narrow and challenging
Great course. Beautiful day! A little backed up with two twosomes behind a foursome.
Great Course!!
Course was in great condition. Very nice layout with nice big greens. One of the nicest public courses I’ve played in Ohio.
Round at Valleaire
We had a very early t-time, so nobody in front of us. Hit a small bucket of balls beforehand on a practice tee that had barely any grass on it but there was an artificial mat to hit from. Course was nice and mostly wide open. Greens were beautiful shape and moderate speed. For the money I’d totally play here again.
Front end staff is lovely, pace of play is horrible
Let me preface this by saying the course is gorgeous, the front end staff, cart girl and pro shop amenities are lovely. We had an issue with the group infront of us not maintaining pace, spending 7-10 minutes looking for balls and at one point 22 minutes of sitting under trees waiting for the rain to stop. We attempted to play through and they declined, we called the Marshall and he said he can not enforce them letting us play through since they paid to play. They went in to bar at the turn, got another 6 pack each and two shots. we played ahead; they drove around us on 10 to tee off on 11. On 16 we had another issue where they actually hit balls at us from the 17th tee box, back down the course at the 16th tee box. We again called the marshall, who came out and said it was too close to the end of the round to really do anything. The guys ended up waiting for us in the parking lot, thankfully I was carrying so I retrieved my firearm from the vehicle and they quickly put their tail between their legs and drove off. I was shocked at their behavior but the fact that the course sold them each a 12 pack plus shots is insane.
I’ll gladly play here again, but I’ll be carrying while I play incase anyone decides to try and assault us again over failure to maintain pace of play
Will play course again
I did like the course. Was only able to play 9 holes due to rain. How do I get a rain check or refund for 9 holes. The said I had to go thru you
Place sucks
Any good thing was the greens. Started had no clue what he was doing. Place is not worth the money.
Good, Tough, and close.
This course is at the end of their own street hidden back off Ridge Rd.
A cheap driving range, and a putting green takes away all your excuses.
Quick cold drink at the turn and a candy bar because you're passing right by the club house anyway and you won't hold up play.
Some very wind-exposed holes and some stifling hot still holes.
You'll probably lose a couple balls, and will probably find a couple of someone else's.
Walk to get your steps in; they won't mind.
Pleasure to play
My 1st play here was worth the trip. I like trying different courses and found this to be a solid course. Some fairways open others tight….nice mix. Good condition
