Crystal Springs Golf Club
About
Crystal Springs Golf Club tumbles across the rolling hills of western Muskingum County. The undulating terrain provides gently sloped greens and elevated tees from which there are scenic views of the surrounding countryside. The golf course has a links-style layout that will appeal to a variety of different skill levels. The ample greens vary in shape and the player-friendly fairways have generous landing areas. There are six ponds that come into play on half of the holes as well as nearly 40 strategically placed sand bunkers throughout. The course's signature hole is the par-4 ninth hole. This tricky hole features water along the right side of the fairway and green and out-of-bounds stakes along the left, as well as a large sand bunker lurking treacherously behind the green.

Fun Course
The course was manicured well, greens were fast, fairways in great shape. Great veiws.
Slow!!!!
Played this course the last two weekends. Multiple groups of 5 and sometimes 6. Called and complained several times. Was told “ they always do that”. Saw at least one fight and basket ball shorts drunks and tank tops are a plenty. Too bad because it’s a beautiful course.
A generally good course at a reasonable price
A good course for those who want to play a well kept well laid out format without paying a premium price
course was in great shape for the time of year, my only complaint would be greens had a lot of brown divot spots, but this is from other players not fixing their divots which is just their own laziness not the fault of the course. There are a few blind holes and it helps playing with someone who has played it before as many holes are not full driver, but layup holes. There were 2-3 4somes ahead of me, as I was a single and 2 twosomes who did offer to let me through, but the 4somes never offered, so paired up with one of the 2 somes and finished rest of round. This did help as they told me of the various layups. over all great course I would play again

Good Course
Overall, it was a good course to play. I would come back. Holes were challenging in the sense that a lot of the times, you couldn't see where your ball would land (hills). For the shape of the course, i would say average. A lot of bald areas but not bad. Cost was reasonable.

This course was great. I was not asked about a course I played 2 weeks ago at the Players Club at Foxfire. This course was in really bad shape for the hot deal price of $30 plus. Greens and fairways were bald and sand traps were crusted and not taken care of. A far cry from the quality of the course in the past. I had not played there in a few years. This course should be taken off of your list until it is fixed up.
Great course; great round of golf.
I really enjoy playing Crystal Springs. Course layout is very good, conditioning is very good, pace of play is better than most good courses... there’s just not a lot to like!
Great Course
Love the course. Great views. Good greens and very playable.
Good value
Short, fun little course, greens were in good condition. Lot of elevation changes, for the money it was a good course, I would play again
Hello, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry to see that your overall experience was anything short of 5 stars, but we hope you'll give us another try in the near future.
"Crystal Springs - 31May19."
Always enjoy playing here. Some interesting holes. Best for first timers to play with someone who has played the course. Multiple par fours where you do not want to hit driver off of the tee.
One negative. We had a tee time of 11:50 because my partner had a window of between 10:30 to 11:30 as to when he would show up do to a previous commitment. He showed up at 10:30, but the course would not allow us to go off until 11:30. We could see the first tee from the practice green, and while we waited for an hour; exactly zero people teed off. So we were teed off before
we teed off.
Crystal Springs.
Always enjoy playing here. hard to play the first time as there are some fair, but quirky holes. You definitely do not want to hit driver on every par four.
One issue, we had an 11:50am tee time; as my partner had an appointment, and did not know when he would ar-
rive for certain. His window was between 10:30 and 11:30.
He arrived at 10:30, but the course would not let us tee off
until 11:30. We could see #1tee from the practice green. From 10:30 to 11:30 exactly no one teed off!!!
Crystal springs
I’d like to thank the staff at crystal springs. We’ve had a very wet spring and the course was in excellent condition. Greens were wonderful. Fairway and rough were in good shape. Everyone at crystal springs has done a great job. Looking forward to playing again soon.
Golf course
The weather was great and the course was in great shape. We will return.
Fun course to play!
Crystal Springs is a great course. Greens are medium fast and roll consistent. Fairways are in excellent condition for early April, and the course
has a high number of holes with water for a central Ohio course. Not overly difficult, but always challenging...
Nice place......they kind of let it slide a bit but it is the end of the season. Greens had been aerated recently so that changed our play a little. It would be nice if courses would put on golf now when they plan to aerate......but all in all.......fun day of golf.
