The aptly named Hidden Hills Golf Club has a secluded location tucked away amongst the hills surrounding the resort community of Apple Valley. It is the ideal atmosphere for a relaxing round. It is a nine-hole, par-3 course that provides excellent short game practice. It is definitely not your average nine-hole golf course. Although it is player-friendly enough for beginners, the layout has an edge that more advanced golfers will enjoy too. Designed in 1972 by Jack Hanlon, the course has a classic design that still manages to feel modern. Thanks to the undulating terrain, there are a lot of varying elevations throughout the greens and tricky uneven lies. The small, fast greens demand accuracy. Sand bunkers are carefully placed throughout Hidden Hills, and water hazards come into play on three holes.
