Freeway Golf Course

this was the worst course I ever played there was nothing but dirt and weeds every where but greens which were in decent shape rest of course was terrible

I've played this course too many times to count. This was by far, the worst condition of just about any course I've played. I know we have been in a pretty extended drought in SJ, but I'm not saying the grass just wasn't green. There was NO GRASS! Not on the tee boxes, not in the fairways, not in the rough. The greens have grass but it was long and they were excruciatingly slow, I guess because they didn't want to lose them too. Can't see myself giving this course any more of my hard earned money anytime in the foreseeable future.

Caught a special on golf now and for the money you can not beat it. The course is starting to dry out so we got nice long drives. There is plenty of green grass to hit the second shot from and the greens were uniform. The layout is challenging but there was no cart girl.

I played the course many times but the course seems to be getting worse each year . They are letting the course go it seems with no maintenance

I booked this 1 person tee time with the intentions of getting in a quick round, I got there 40 min early hoping to get out a little earlier I was told that I was paired up with a 3 some which has happened before so no big deal even though there were no other players around I waited. When the 3 showed I was put in a cart with the other party even though I paid a cart fee. The deal is not as advertised I won't be back due to my round taking 5 hours instead of 3 due to the pair up

Decent course to practice on. Nice layout. Few greens need some extra attention. Fairways / Tee boxes in rough shape. For less than a dollar a hole its a great value. No food service available which even dumbfounded the semi friendly staff there. Don't expect too much and you may be pleasantly surprised.

Manager Mitch seemed to present himself as unfriendly and domineering without cause

I am not a good golfer so this is a good course for me to practice.

conditions were good for mid March after the winter we had, friendly staff, no problems getting tee time and getting to the 1st tee was quick & easy.

The pro shop has absolutely nothing in stock. The course is very poorly maintained. I only recommend playing Freeway as a last resort.

the course was cold and wet due to the weather in the area turned out to be a nice day later in the afternoon

I know the course was not in the best shape but for a $10 round, you couldn't beat it. We were told to wait to tee off for a third person that never showed up. Played the course extremely fast until the 15th. Then we caught up. Greens were like putting in the rough.

Needs major upkeep. I wouldn't play there again even if it was 10$

Course needs fairway work on just about every hole. Greens get better as you play. It was winter so didn't expect much. Below average course , if maintained better could be much better.

This course is very good for beginners. The course is wide open and it is almost impossible to hit the ball off the fairways. The conditions of the fairways were a little worn and needed work but the greens were fine. Moved at a quick pace with no delays.

Paid for round with cart. Was told not enough carts and to wait to be paired up.

If you prepay for 1 or 2 with cart that is what I expect.

This was the closest thing to a cow pasture that I have ever played. Greens were okay, but cart paths fringe and fairways were poor to lousy. I actually scratched my clubs in the fairway.

I personal thought the course was very challenging from the white tees. Specially on the long par 3's and the fairways could of been nicer also. Overall it's a nice straight course for a beginner like me. I had a very relaxing time here and will hit from the easier tees next time!

fairways has long grass, & has a lotta cheat grass. but overall its a nice fun course
