Great off season track
Raccoon Hill as always comes through in the winter months in Northern Ohio. We had a snow storm 10 days ago and the course and greens were in great shape. Kudos to the staff. Great day.
Getting better
This course at the beginning of the year was pretty hammered, they’re currently doing a lot of necessary repairs, I look forward to conditions next year

Great place to play ....Anytime of the year! Always soothed by the sound of the trains passing nearby. Just a cool little addition to a great course !
Raccoon hill
Nice course with some unique and challenging layouts. The greens and tee boxes need a lot of love and the bunkers need a little love

There was a 9 hole league on the front nine , extremely slow play. Back nine played in 11/2 hours. Much better . Most greens were good . Some tee boxes were on a crown , not level. Overall it was ok

Staff was very friendly. Course was wide open . Played 18 holes in less than 2 1/2 hours . Would definitely play it again and recommend it my friends
The front 9 is the only part worth it, but it's still not great
This course has terrible drainage all around but also doesn't do much in terms of course maintenance. I've played here a few times because it's cheaper but honestly, spend that extra 10 bucks and play 18 somewhere else. The back 9 is terrible to play. Conditions are bad on most holes and the putting greens are muddy and oftentimes appear to have been driven over by a jeep.
Terrible condition
I guess if you get this on a hot deal it’s worth it if you live close. Even then it wouldn’t be my first choice. The tee boxes are lumpy and full of sand and dirt. The fairway is indistinguishable from the rough and there are clumps of grass missing everywhere you look, and the grass that is there look more like weeds than actual grass. The ground is so hard they must not have watered yet this month (it’s the 25th). Imagine playing on a lumpy sheet of glass and that’s exactly what it’s like to play here. I did hit a tee shot with my 6 iron over 220 yards as it rolled on the hard lumpy ground like a hybrid golf/plinko game. How this place is even in business is incredible. How it doesn’t have a lower review score is equally as crazy.
Well maintained, fast greens!
Solid value and done challenging layouts despite the short lengths!
Good value. Friendly staff.
I’ve been coming to this course for years. It’s always a fun time, well taken care of for how busy it is. Never a complaint from me.
Fun
This is a fun course. Front 9 is rather easy but the back 9 is very challenging. I love playing here though.
Good value!
I had a good time playing here. Course conditions can be sub-par during hot and wet summer time, but you get what you pay for.. still good value for the price.
Snails Pace
The front nine is more open with tighter fairways and water on the back nine. The pace was very slow on a Friday morning. I was behind a twosome, in front of them way a 6 group of hackers that spent more time looking than hitting. At 7 we finally played through. The tee boxes are rough and two greens (7 and 16) are in rough shape. If you want to spend the day golfing 18. This is your course. If you want a traditional round pace avoid this course.
