FUN COURSE
I've played this course several times over the past 15 years. I found it during a stay at Pymatuning State Park. If it was closer to where I live I would play it more. There is water in the form of ponds, streams, or ditches on most of the holes adding to the challenge. Two of the six par threes play from an elevated tee box hitting over water adding to the fun. All the par threes are a challenge due to distance. I've played it from spring to the middle of November and it has always been in good shape. Fairways are tree lined and narrow on some holes/shots. if you're playing it for the first time you may have to drive up thefairway to make sure where you are playing your next shot to. Relying on how far you hit a certain club will come into play as there are some blind shots. #9 is a great hole going into the turn with #10 and #11 waiting to shake your confidence. I love the challenges here. Staff has always been friendly and accommodating. They have a spacious bar/restaurant area with fun artwork on the walls. I'm not sure what restrictions one might encounter due to covid if you wanted to relax in the bar afterwards as I didn't try or ask my last time there. I love the setting and the park like feel. For me and everyone I've taken there a fun, fun course.
