Disappointed
I can appreciate employees and locals giving this course 3 stars but this is not a good golf course. No maintenance what is so ever. If you have little ones that you want to have fun with , it might be fun. Not a course for the guys in a Sunday morning. Terrible
Good Hot Deal Value
I played this course twice before in the fall and you should play this course with a hot deal price. Yes, the greens are a little carpet like and need to be cut like previously stated. The course is not being watered so the grass is burnt and very dry in certain places. However, it is a good course for beginners or if your game is struggling. The fairways are wide open, there are no bunkers and the course layout isn't too complicated. Anything under $20 for 18 w/cart is good value here
best the course has looked!
The course was/is in GREAT condition. the greens where a little on the spongey side, but very good shape.
Enjoyable
Not sure why everyone writes bad reviews about this place. I thought it was definitely playable and would play there again no problem. The only complaint is the greens were soft and putting was a little harder gauging the speed. 32$ no problem. See ya next time!
They took my living room carpet as an idea for their greens!
$27 not worth it. Only thing we could find and I regret driving 50 minutes and spending $27 on this trash place. Can’t find your ball in the rough half the time cause of all the weeds and white dandelions sprouting. Course was flat everywhere, maybe 2 hills on the course on holes next to each other. No challenge with elevation. Greens were worse part. Putting on my living room carpet. Grass doesn’t get cut, extremely slow, and everything goes straight even if you think there’s movement. Forget about knocking in any putt because you have to take a good hack at the ball to even get it remotely close to the hole! You have a downhill putt? Hit it like you’re trying to blow it past the hole because If not, you will be short. Overall, just not a good course. Needs better care taken on it.
Needs some attention
Granted we've had quite a bit of rain recently, but none of the fairways were mowed with the grass being about 3 inches high making it difficult to find balls in the fairway.
Most of the rough areas were covered with white dandelion balls and the grass about 6 to 8 inches high on the front nine. They were mowing the rough on the back nine so about half of them were cut by the time we played.
The grass on the greens was also long kind of like walking on heavily padded carpet. Greens we could live with, the rest of the course you can keep.
First and probably last time playing this course.
Quarantine 18
It’s was just great to be alive and healthy to play in these trying times
Course play
Enjoyed playing golf under pandemic conditions course was great to play what a great feeling just to be out with friends enjoying golf I could of been playing any course and it would have been great just happy to be alive and healthy enough to play
Garbage
For the price of 18 ($32) this was by far the worst course I’ve ever played. The fairways are riddled with dandelions and crab grass. The greens were terrible as well. (Like I was putting on my living room carpet). DO NOT GOLF HERE.
Absolutely garbage
This course was absolutely awful. There were no “fairways”, and greens were terrible. For the amount of money it cost for 18 you would think it would go to some upkeep. I’ve never left a round early and we left after 7 holes into 18. DO NOT GOLF HERE.
Trash
Management either needs to invest or sell. At this point should be turned into a parking lot.
Course is in rough shape
Weeds on greens. It’s a shame a nice course like this is being let go so badly.
I believe the owner of the property (Sptizer) is just waiting for it to worsen and develop the land.
Staff was kind...
The golf cart had to be primed each time to start...30-40 seconds wait time...
Trash
Typical Pheasant run conditions, but worse. The Covid crises did not do any benefit to the course. I would not have played here if it wasn’t the only option and regretted going after getting out. Poorly maintained - no distinction between rough and fairways, spongy greens that haven’t been mowed all year, and absolutely no dandelion control. 10$/round might be fair, but 32$ is robbery. Owners need to invest in the course or sell because it is better off being a parking lot with the shape it is in every year. Pheasant run golf Is an insult to golf and all that it stands for.
Best bang for your buck
Don’t expect a 5 star course for 15 dollars, but it’s worth every penny if you just wanna get out and play
