Great course for the price
Course was in great shape. Got stuck behind a foursome but let us pass eventually
nice greans and fairways
Nice fairly open course. It rained during play but it didn't get too muddy.
Absolutely fantastic experience
I had a great day at Knoll Run. The course was not too hard, but had significant rough, quite a few lakes, and some significant doglegs. The greens were fast and ran true.I got lost on the way, but the starter went out of his way to fit me in, despite my being a half hour late for my tee time. EVERYONE at the course could not have been more friendly. To top it all off, I had an absolutely fantastic meal at the course restaurant at the end of the round. I wish the course was closer; I would pay there ever round. Kudos to the entire staff for =making my time there a memorable experience. I will be back, often!
great place to play !
the course was in very good condition for how late it is in the season ...................
Great course!
Knoll Run is one of my favorite courses to play. One of the best in the Youngstown area. Greens are always in good shape even with all the play they get.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Nice restaurant with great food.
Only "con" is pace of play. On weekends expect to hit and wait on the front 9, after 9 hole players finish the pace speeds up a bit on the back 9.
Nice course, fun to play.
Nice course, fun to play but front nine was painfully slow. Played at noon on Sunday. Front nine was full of very old people and beginners. No ranger to keep people moving. Thankfully they only were playing nine holes. Back nine played much faster.
Only issue was a fivesome a few holes ahead of us..
Great deal on a box lunch, highly recommend, only $2. Course was in very nice condition, considering the rain it got the day before. A fivesome a few holes ahead of us but they only played the first nine. So we were able to finish in under 4 hours.
Great course to play
I loved playing this course, the par 3's and 5's were challenging. The greens sloped in one direction or the other, which challenged my putting skills.
Staff was very friendly.
I will definitely play this course again and again.

No hassle Tee times
I found that being familiar with Golf Now is easy but have only once before taken advantage of the book now online feature the simplicity and cooperation of course staff is super appreciated!!
Greens were in good shape for this early in the season.
The speed of play was good. The greens were in good shape, especially for this early in the season. We arrived early to play 9 holes but the starter let us off the back 9.
