Wedgwood Country Club
About
Wedgewood Country Club in Turnersville is one of the most popular public golf courses in the Tri-State area. It offers an upscale atmosphere with a traditional layout that pays homage to Philadelphia's most prestigious and renowned private courses. The course is like playing two in one with a front nine that is spacious and open while the back nine is much tighter and more heavily tree lined. The entire Wedgewood layout sprawls across gentle undulating terrain, providing subtle breaks throughout that will test your skills. There are two holes that are particularly memorable, the 13th, one of the toughest par 4s in the area, and the 17th, a tough par 5. The 13th is a lengthy par 4 that requires a second shot over water with a long club to a difficult target. Wedgewood Country Club's penultimate hole demands accuracy with an uphill drive through a chute.

Disgrace
Without a doubt the worst course in the area. This would be a cool spot to mess around for $25. For $70-80? No thanks. Conditions are poor and it is not taken care of whatsoever.
I will say, the course layout is cool. Would be a great purchase for an investor who wants to rehab it and return it to playable conditions.
Has Potential but ownership doesn't care
If you are a casual player the staff doesn't give you the time of day. The course condition is below average, other than the greens which were adequate. 9 of the 18 holes are cart path only ( par 5s included) so might as well walk and save some money because 77$ for this course is robbery. The geofence on the carts is probably the most annoying part of Everything. It gives you about 3 seconds to turn back before it completely shuts down your cart. I've tried playing there a few times over the year and every time I say I won't be back. Hopefully I learn.
Don’t expect a lot
I went by myself today after seeing there were a lot of openings. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a bar and food available. The carts have range finders in them and radio capabilities, but shut down when you break the rules.
My impression was that the course was great 3-4 years ago but has been let to sit without any major repairs. The bunkers were filled with water or otherwise were just pebbles without much sand. The tee boxes were in average shape. The greens were fine and the fairways were alright. Average rating. With a little of work this course could be great, but it looks like the owner wants to milk it without putting more money into it. I’d say 3 out of 5, but for a little more you can play some great courses in the area.
Too much money for such a poor course
Goose droppings everywhere. Chewed up tee boxes. Ok fairways. This course charges way too much money for the condition it is always in ( which is poor on its best days).
Soon to be sold vibes
77$ for this course is actually almost robbery. Between the bunkers having literally 2 feet of water and some with literally no sand just rocks in them to no cart girl to no marshals to speed up play this course has a soon to be sold vibes. Clearly the owner is just milking whatever is left of this which is a real shame because the length and challenge of the course is quite fun everything else is below average.
SUPER OVERPRICED
there is absolutely no reason why this course should be more than $40 a round. super unprofessional, below average pro shop and bar, tee boxes are beat up, goose poop all on the fairways, traps aren't even sand, they're a bunch of little rocks, pace of play is horrible took me 4 1/2 hours to get through the front 9 and didn't end up finishing, absolutely no drinks on the course, not even from the cart girl.
Dissatisfied
My tee time was after an outing. The outing ran long and there wasn't a starter to send people out so it was a free for all at the first tee. Very confusing and I teed off 45 minutes after my scheduled time. Course condition has degraded over the past few years.
Condition of course has deteriorated over the past several years. Currently conditions not inline with cost
Decent Course
The course was in good shape, great greens. Hardly anyone there. However, it was mid day on a Tuesday. The bunkers were not very good but it rained hard the previous day. I'd play there again.
Surprised
The course is in surprisingly good shape. Greens are great and fairways are true. No dead spot or bare spots. Unless in the woods or far rough. I hope it stays this way. I’ve been playing 9 after work. $30 with cart not terrible. The carts have a range finder on them now. Nice addition except the stupid door bell for cart path only or off cart path. Could just be a little beep. It rang a few times in backswings. I have been to the bar so can’t rate that. Staff friendliness I can’t rate either cause I just pay and go play. It used to be very over priced given the conditions but if the conditions continue to be this nice I’ll pay. Don’t know if new owners or super took over but keep it up.
Horrible course condition
Unfortunately the course doesnt seem maintained at all. Tee boxes are horrible, sand bunkers are filled with rocks and some have water, putting greens are not blown off in the morning so most have leaves, sticks, and other tree related objects on them. Fairways were half-way decent but nothing to brag about. For what we paid for what we got i would not recommend this course to anyone.
