Wedgwood Country Club
About
Wedgewood Country Club in Turnersville is one of the most popular public golf courses in the Tri-State area. It offers an upscale atmosphere with a traditional layout that pays homage to Philadelphia's most prestigious and renowned private courses. The course is like playing two in one with a front nine that is spacious and open while the back nine is much tighter and more heavily tree lined. The entire Wedgewood layout sprawls across gentle undulating terrain, providing subtle breaks throughout that will test your skills. There are two holes that are particularly memorable, the 13th, one of the toughest par 4s in the area, and the 17th, a tough par 5. The 13th is a lengthy par 4 that requires a second shot over water with a long club to a difficult target. Wedgewood Country Club's penultimate hole demands accuracy with an uphill drive through a chute.

Nice Golf Course Recommend it
First time I played here. Course conditions were good for not a private course. Nice people in the Pro Shop so I bought a nice Wedgewood Golf Hat. Nice layout some holes tight great challenge to all handicaps. Playing it again this Saturday so great course great time great service Great prices.
Good Local Option
Some holes in better shape than others, but overall conditions were great given all the heat.
Would definitely play again. Challenging greens
Good layout. Greens are great.
The course was in good condition. Greens were in great shape. I suggest bringing your own water. If you do go early amenities are scarce to none.
Nice Enough Course
For the most part this was a pretty open and straightforward course. Only a couple of challenging holes. Considering how poorly I played that probably helped even though I parred the #1 handicap hole. Greens were in decent shape as were the fairways. There was no one near us so I can't really comment on the staff nor did I use any amenities. I am willing to go back.

went as a single . there is no starter so everyone does their own thing. No one joined up with me and upset Three son behind me ,. although i played in 3 1/2 hours.
not the friendliness people there.
Left wanting more
The course was in decent condition. Tee boxes, most of the fairways and ground conditions were good. The bunkers were more dirt and stone. While the greens rolled good. They had some rough spots on them. With that being said it is evident that the grounds guys were working on the bunkers and other aspects of the course.
For the most part it is a decent course with a good layout. Some small greens, tight fairways and blind shots. But there are also some open fairways and big greens as well. Pick your shot carefully as this will lead to better scoring!
My only real gripe is the less than stellar personality of the staff. At least be happy we are there paying money to come golf at your facility.
Not bad right now
The layout is tight with trees and/water on most holes. The greens were in good shape except one hole had some disease on the green but not close to where the hole was located. Fairways had grass , which is better than it was the last time I played here.. it usually goes downhill later in the summer, hopefully not this year
Good course
Greens s little weathered and too many many cart path holes.
Challenging Course, Great Layout, Improving, But Needs More
Quite possibly one of the most challenging courses in the area (from the tips). It measures nearly 7200 yards, that's pretty rare in SJ.
Tee boxes throughout the course are in good or great condition. A few fairways require repair (patches of crab grass or weeds, rocky bunkers with weeds and burnout surrounding, patches of waterlogged death, and poorly repaired divots ((ie the fault of golfers)) but it appears the course is trending towards the completion of these repairs. Granted at this time in the season, it may be questionable that the repairs will come in time for the heart of the season.
A few of the greens are clearly being worked, as of 4/30/21. This is promising. However, aside from rolling and aeration, at least 2 other greens have significant repair requirements, specifically 16. 17 is currently being worked on, while 18 shows signs of previous work.
There appears to be promise here, but I am concerned (as a club shopping golfer) that the repairs will not come in time for this 2021 season.
This course has mountains of potential. I would join in a heartbeat if these issues are resolved or plans for resolution are apparent for this season. All withstanding, if the members rates accommodated members for these reasons, I would quickly join (the course is that good). In the current condition, I would hope for a bit more or at least very clear plans for improvement.
Old but updated
This is an old course layout but the fairways and green in great condition.
Great 2 days of golf
Spent 2 days and loved the openess of the course as well as the cleanliness and just the right amount of challenge. Great energy there.
