Timberview Golf Club
About
Timberview Golf Club rolls across a diverse landscape that is ideal for a challenging round. The rolling terrain is covered with mature trees, ponds, and creeks. There is a housing development surrounding the golf course, but the houses do not intrude into the game. The layout features seven holes that were carefully carved from the dense forests and fourteen holes with water hazards coming into play. The course has a good balance of player-friendly holes and more challenging holes. The wide fairways are well manicured and the undulating greens are medium in size. In addition to the water and trees, sand fiercely guards the greens on half of the holes. The layout is still gentle enough to appeal to beginners. Timberview also offers two practice putting greens.

Course in Very Rough Condition
There were some holes that weren't in terrible condition, but there were some that had basically dirt tees and areas around greens with very little grass. Unfortunately, my friend and I quickly decided we wouldn't be back because there are much better courses nearby. We played the front, so I can't comment on the back nine. My friend had played the back nine and said it was at least in better condition overall.
Great value !
How can you beat the GolfNow price ? Always liked the course layout - been playing here for last 30+ years. Staff is friendly too. Good course for beginners - taught my own here myself.
I know it’s not Muirfield - but fair course for scoring & mix of shots. A few great looking par 3s too. Go enjoy !
Cheap Quick Round
This is a good course for beginners since the pace is quick and there’s little pressure from busy conditions and the expectations are relatively low. It’s very cheap but you get what you pay for. Conditions are often awful and at least a few tee boxes are essentially gravel. The clubhouse was recently renovated and it’s pretty nice. All in all not a terrible round, just manage your expectations going in
fun time with a byddt
Love the layout but because it has been so hot, the course is dry and hard. Had to hit short and hope the ball didn't roll off the greens Good value for the money
Two of played 18 in just over three hours and we’re mediocre at best. No delay what so ever. Course upkeep was pretty good, a few wet spots here and there.
Average
Average. For the money it’s a deal. Good place to go to if you’re a beginner and trying to get better
Only thing is. When I got there I had to wait over 30 minutes for a cart. That’s the only real issue I had.
Get what you pay for
In central Ohio $36 green fees is pretty cheap. It definitely shows on this course. The club house hasn’t been updated since the 90’s I’d say. Greens had divots all over, the ball just bounces and hopped on everyone . When we got back to the clubhouse there were multiple people waiting for carts. Tee boxes were pretty bad. I played it once but wouldn’t go back, really only went because it was the only tee time available.
A course for beginners
Fairways and roughs look the same. Hard to distinguish between the two. Tee boxes aren’t level and the steps to the tee boxes are more dangerous than just walking up the hills. Fairways have patches of dirt all over them. This is definitely a course for new players to figure out how to hit a ball straight. Otherwise you’re wasting your money
Can only improve !
Hopefully , somebody buys this course and runs it seriously. Nice layout - but might be the roughest , worst cared for course within 100 miles ! Marysville area has nothing but money in it & these people haven’t figured out golfers’ dollars yet. Get a real greenskeeper & crew - we would actually pay more money . Right now $10 fees is $9 too much ! Years ago , a nice little course - gone to the dogs. Sad indeed.
Almost amazing
Other then having grass bunkers the course played very well and with having small greens it made me focus in and play better shots staff was very friendly as well
Price was right
Ladies tees are unfair for average lady’s forced carry to the fairways was too far. Need another set of ladies tees
Agree, need another set of ladies tees that need to be seeded, watered and sanded.
