Course was not being taken care of. Very tall weeks on the first tee box. The greens are rough and look to have been patched up in dead spots. Bad putting surface. And I paid the fee on line and owed 16 per person at the course. I was charged 19 then refunded 4. The other two were them charged 16. We won’t be back
Wasn’t even worth the $8 GN Hot Deal. Greens were horrible and patchy, and spray painted green. Hoses were out and on the tee box and fairway on 6 (I think). Just overall horrible condition. Won’t waste my time there again.
Course is shabby.. but still worth a look
Not in the shape it’s been in previous seasons.
Still a nice little track to fine tune irons & short game.
Don’t bring your putter, take 2 putt and move next hole.
Pack some beverages & hit fee extra balls
Worst course ever, super small greens, extremely dry
I would never ever golf here again even if I got paid to play
Not what I thought
When i got to the pro show: there employee was not there and no where to be found. So i had to wait. The course not well maintain. Also there golf cart was not working properly.
Nice executive course
Small greens make accuracy a must. Friendly staff. Will come back.
Save your money/time
I golf a lot and this was by far the worst course I've ever played. Fairways dried out, greens in horrible condition. I was told by the staff their water pump broke and could not get replacement for most the summer.
Say home and try again next year
The gentleman who helped us was attentive, friendly and genuine. The course however needs work. There isn't much green on the course at all. Each tee had fertilizer rocks on it so I can tell they're making an attempt but it was even hard to hit with an iron in the fairway because the dirt was so hard and dry. I would recommend this to a friend only for the $5.00 golfnow deal. Thank you for having us though. Thank you for the friendly staff.
AWFUL! STAY AWAY, SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!
1st, the pro shop was difficult to find. The girl at the desk was not interested in doing anything except playing the game on her cell phone.
Fairways were dead grass, cones covering up exposed pipes, chunks missing out of greens, cart tire tracks through greens.
Course is absolutely the worst I've ever been on and that is saying a lot because I thought I had seen the worst a few months ago. Horribly marked, no idea where you're going next, people were hitting from tees on one hole to a "green" on the other hole. There's some little brick shack around the 5th hole that has all sorts of critters in/out of it.
Oh and I put the word green in " " because most of them weren't green, they were as dusty brown as some of the baseball fields I've played on.
I also found it quite comical that they advertise as 18 holes because you can play the course twice from different tees. Seriously?!?!
It actually annoys me that I have to give this h*ll hole 1 star and cannot make it 0 because that'd still be more than it deserves.
I will never under any circumstances go back here, there is no reason on earth to charge $14 or whatever it was we each paid to play there, next time i'm looking to do a quick 9 holes i'll head up to the baseball field by my house, dig a couple holes in it and start smacking the ball around for free.
Okay to smack it around, but...
the course is in terrible condition. Greens are not smooth, grass is dead everywhere, and bunkers are weed pits.
It was the worst course I have ever seen or been to. The greens were to small , cracked, and most of all to high
Waahed up, stuffy, 1970's country club.
I've golfed this course a dozen times. No cart path on many holes makes for a muddy mess. Maintanence and conditions are the worst out of any course we've played more than once. Only a 9hole course that can be played from two different tees but it only makes a difference on one hole. You'd think the lack of maintenance would correspond with a loose dress code but they turned away two of our foursome for not having collared shirts, they were wearing dryfit Nike golf gear - they weren't wearing jeans and a tanktop. It is sad, really. I'm sure, at one time, this was a top notch venue. Now, it's weaksauce.
There are A LOT better options.
Ok, to understand this course one needs to know it is an executive course. Short par 4s long par 3s. I personally find this to be one of the worst executive courses in the areas for the money. The fairways are decent. The greens are horribly slow and very very small, smaller than most executive courses. Spend the extra gas, you'll probably end up saving money anyways and go to the valley for an executive course/par 3 course if you want one. The only time this course is enjoyable to play is when you get a complete 9 for under $10. You can play 18 at Hawks Nest for half the price you pay here.
Nice 9 Hole Course
This was our first time at Rustic Hills, we liked the course and had a good time. I will recommend this course to anyone who likes to play golf.
