I did not check my e--mail before departing for PV. I was surprised to see the course was closed since other courses were open. In the future , I will check my Email .
Course closed with no notification
We drove 15 miles to find the course closed with a gate blocking the entrance. We received no notification from either Golf Now or Pleasant Valley regarding the course being closed. Also, you have charged me $60.36 on my credit card for this round of golf.
First time played
A nice course but expected more due to its rating in the top 10 in Ohio public courses.
Cart paths were rough but course was in good condition. Not worth the drive when we have the Quarry in our area.
Great Course Always
Always have a great tim playing here....my guys like to play somewhere different each time.....but when we do repeat we go here...Great Fairways...Nice Greens.....everything was great,,,,,
The greens were punched and there was no notification of such. For the price they charged and punched greens, it was disappointing.
Recently Aerated with no Warning
Paid for a prepaid tee time 12 hours in advance on GolfNow with no ‘Aerification Alert’. Showed up and all 18 greens seemed like they had been aerated in the prior 24-48 hours. Bummer because this is generally a good value and layout. Disappointed and probably will not come back this year, but would give it a shot again next year.
Have to be joking
5 1/2 hours at noon on a Friday. Three groups on the tee on majority of holes. Course was busy but no ranger to ask Twosome three “groups ahead of us to move along or stand aaide. Course in great condition, greens tolling true and reasonably quick. The guy I played with and I had time to tell our life story. And I’m 60
great course always

Enjoyed the course, but won’t anymore
I always enjoy playing this course however, on Saturday, 8/22, we were screamed at by another CUSTOMER for our pace of play on the 18th hole. An employee for the course was there collecting carts and after we finished I spoke with him regarding the customer yelling at us (which the employee heard). He did tell us our pace was slow but it is my understanding there is a range master at the course and this would be his duty. The customer then decided again to get in my groups face over the situation. Members of the course did nothing to rectify the situation and still allowed the guy to golf even after the blatant disrespect to us, the course, and fellow golfers. Needless to say, at this point, it’s not a course worth returning to if this is how you allow your customers to be treated.

Pleasant Valley is a good track always in good condition. Unfortunately we had a foursome two groups ahead of us that were 3 holes behind after 6 holes. We played behind 2 walkers and they had to wait on every tee. There was no ranger and the foursome refuse to wave anyone through. The walkers quit after 9 we decided to skip 12 and 13 and had a wide open course in front of us. When we left the foursome was just arriving on hole 16. This course needs a ranger.
