TOO NOISY TO ENJOY GOLF
There are reasons most people myself included go golfing for me it is being in the outdoors, enjoying the peace and tranquility and enjoying your playing partners. On a perfect day for golf I can't say I enjoyed my round at Pinelands as most holes you could hear the reeving of dirt bikes which seem to surround the course on the few holes where you can't hear them, you heard a shooting range. If I wanted to be bombarded with noise I would have stayed home it is not why I go to courses, thanks, but never again.
good public course
My friend and I have meet halfway between where we live and we always have a good time at this public facility. It is tree lined but not unfairly and a couple of interesting par 5 holes. The greens were in good shape and rolled smooth but a little on the slow side. It's an interesting layout with few very straight holes.
If you want to see what it was like years ago to play golf, then this is the place to visit. Stress free, fun group of people and a relatively challenging course. Lots of trees. Don't expect fancy amenities. The price for play is great and conditions are OK. greens are slow. I recommend the facility and hope you'll enjoy the day here.
