Losing the fairways
Played this course about 6 weeks ago and it was in terrific shape, but this time the fairways are "fading fast". The greens are in great shape but the dieing fairways takes away from the overall course condition. It's still ok to play and I would reccomend playing here but if some kind of maintence isn't done soon there will be no fairways and my recommendation will change. It is still a great setting & nice people in management
Would Play here again!
Front Nine Fairways need attention!
Tee Boxes and Greens are in Great Shape!
It is what it is
Got a scorcher deal and it costs me less than $15 to play so cant complain about that. Tees are massive and in good condition. Fairways are fair with a few holes having massie burned out areas. Greens roll true and are in pretty good shape but a few have small spots of mold or old mold. There were several greens getting syringed so they are trying their best especially on this 93 degree heat wave kind of day. Seemed like they have a lot of biting flies. My ankles were screaming all day.
Good for early summer
This course is one of the more homey courses in the tri-county area. On par with Vista Verde, Greencrest or Jamaica Run. Not much elevation change, almost every holds has a tue. To it though, so you have to pay attention and / or have someone with you who has played before. The greens were in good shape. Fairways too. Rough was mostly clover, but a challenge if you found it. Not much by way of amenities, but they keep the prices low, too.
This course is a great hidden secret that looks too easy from initial glance, but gives you a challenge
This course is a fairly flat course, but does give you a challenge. It allows you to work on all the aspects of your game. The greens are well maintained. It is laid out similar to a links course, but it can be tricky. Using GolfNow.com made it a great value.
This course is sneaky tough.
The front 9 always plays tough with a starting par 5 with a small elongated green guarded by a bunker and many bothersome trees. The 3rd hole is a 221 yard par 3 over a small body of water. Hole 8 is a long par 5 with a sharp dogleg left where the smart player will lay up to the corner of the dogleg. Others, like myself, like to take a shot for the green over the trees on the left when possible. Not one of my best decisions most of the time.
Rough was ROUGH!
Well we got a decent deal so we decided to play. We played this course last year 2012 and it was a great value an good Maintence. This year it was a bit different story. The fairways were very narrow and the rough was tall, thick, and clovers were everywhere. We must have lost a half dozen balls in the rough and that's frustrating...
If the price is right we would come back...
COURSE IN DECENT SHAPE FOR THE PRICE
COURSE PLAYED PRETTY EASY. BEING FATHERS DAY AND ALOT OF PEOPLE OUT THERE WE PLAYED PRETTY QUICK. SOME GREENS HAD BAD SPOTS, BUT THEY PUT PINS OUT OF THOSE AREAS.
Jekyll and Hyde Staff
Due to a healthy dose of rain, the course is in pretty good shape. The course is enjoyable. Greens are rolling well. The rough has a lot of clover. They have a really nice friendly guy and a dismissive guy, a Jekyll and Hyde staff. The course is worth playing.
Great time
Greens in good shape. Had a great time with friends. Be back soon
The pro shop staff was less tan friendly.
When I go to a course to play golf, I frankly don't want to hear from the course management about their displeasure with Golfnow.
Long par three's from the whites,(2nd longest tees) 1st cut of rough was very difficult
enjoyed the afternoon, the course proved challenging, had alot of fun
Needs attention!
The greens were decent, the rest of the course very poor!
Tee off and plan on dropping a ball for your second shot
Never seen so many white puff balls in my life. Also never lost and found so many balls either. This course is clearly cut once a week... Staff were annoyed that I got a discount to play there. Very open and forgiving course but holes are not very defined. You get what you pay for $15 is probably over paying.
This course has good green and fairways
The course fairways was not maintain properly,
You cannot find your ball even if for sure you where it landed
Good value for money, even though fairways are relatively flat, greens present challenge, long hitter will enjoy the course.
Good access from I75 via 129, located in the near countryside. You will like the view if you like the open skies. Long hitter will enjoy the open greens. Especially the longer par 3's.
For the price, this is an excellent course to go out and play a round on.
The course is not too dificult, but it is difficult enough that you can still manage to find trouble if your not being careful.
Has some challenging holes.
It's early season so you might expect some rough adges. But I have played this course in the summer and It is usually nicely maintained. Good value for the money.
open, not rushed,well maintained
open so its hard to lose a ball. Tee times not stacked up so you are not rushed. Course is fairly well maintained
Great this time of year
The course was in really good condition especially after the hot summer with little rain. Was a little disappointed because there isn't a real fairway just some grass a little shorter than the rest. It'd rained the day before and we lost balls IN THE FAIRWAY because the grass was so long and the wet conditions. Will play again but not after a rain.
