Beautiful Course - Not for the faint of heart!
What a wonderful course located in the middle of Amish Country. The staff was excellent, and provided some great insight into the course. (Be sure to ask for a tip sheet). This course is up and down with some multi layered greens all over. Some of the holes are blind and especially #12 is a little hard to find. The back nine was really interesting and difficult. (For me anyway). This is a definite "must play" if you are anywhere near Holmes County Ohio. Well worth the time, money, and travel.
well worth the drive
we came about 60 miles on a hot deal tee time and we enjoyed ourselves greatly. our first time here and will come back again. the staff was very friendly and the course was well manicured for this early in the year. greens putted true. they even handed us a tip sheet on how to play each hole, which i found to be of great help. alot of blind shots. it would take playing it more to learn your way around the course. wife and i had a great time though. bring your whole game! a lot of ups and downs and side hill lies. leave your driver in the bag on a few holes. looking forward to the next time here.
Beautiful views
Loved this course. Difficult but fair. Fabulous views from many of the holes. Would definitely recommend. Greens held well and rolled very smooth.
AWESOME COURSE
I had played this course back in the late 90's and had thought about playing Black Diamond another course in the Millersburg area. But, I saw that they had a Military rate in which they just charged for the cart fee. I played 18 holes and then I called my wife to find out if I could play more and she said sure. I went back into the club house and asked the Manager (Don) how much would it be for another 18 holes and he said $7. Well, after I played that 18, I asked the wife if I could play more and she said as long as I was back before 4 p.m. and I said ok. So, I went back into the club house and Don said just go play as much as I want. So for $21, I ended up playing 54 holes that day. Then, I proceeded to come back over the next several days. I ended up playing over 300 holes for under $90 and the last day I played for free because the manager said that since I played 5 rounds that the 6th round was free. I was amazed on how the fairways were kept, the sand traps, and the greens were pretty fast even though one of the managers said that they were slow. I found all the people that work at the course are exceptionally friendly. The course is definitely a shot makers course and pretty much use every club in your bag. I will definitely be back playing this course when I go back to Ohio.
over priced and rude staff
Not worth the money, course is not mowed and the sand trap has rocks in it
Beautiful Fun Challenging Course With Very Friendly Staff
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly staff and given helpful tips on how to play this fun, yet challenging course. It's a well-kept course that is both beautiful & scenic. We highly recommend you grab one of their Tip Sheets to help you with your shots for each of the holes. It's a great course that we'll look forward to golfing at again in the future.
Could do it again.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The course offers a tip card giving new golfers little helpful hints for playing each hole. Front 9 had a bit of water where the back has quite a bit of acreage! 18th was hard to decipher where it started. If we are in the area again I can see is playing there again.
Thank you for the kind words. Bring some friends with you the next time!
Amish Golf
First time playing here. My threesome got a hot deal for $16 each. This place has always looked good and inviting from the road. Clubhouse was fair, kind of old, men's bathroom was a little scary. They have plenty of space below the clubhouse for a large outing. Course was great. Front nine was nothing special. Back nine was amazing, great views and interesting design. Course was wet, and we played in the rain the whole round. A few areas of unplayable conditions from the crazy monsoon season going on around here, but otherwise course was in great shape. We will definitely be back.
Sorry about the weather. Come again when its not so wet! Thanks for the kind words!
One of the best
We have played several courses across the U.S. This is a hidden gem. Just loved it. Preferred front nine to the back, but overall a great course! We will be playing again.

Beautiful Course, Follow the Tip Sheet!
The course is beautiful and hilly. And with that, it can be really tough. The tip sheet they hand you is your friend. Follow it, and your day will be not too bad. Ignore it, and the day will be very long with many heartaches. Don't take the course too lightly, but enjoy the rolling hills and greenery.
How about that tip sheet? Thanks and hope to see you again soon!
Hilly but beautiful...
The course is challenging and the views are very scenic... hills and valleys. Especially liked the back 9!
A course for all levels of golfers.
The course is very picturesque, with a lot of tress and rolling hillsides. The 12th hole is a challenge, as well as 17. Would recommend the course to any level of player.
Thank you for the compliments! Hope to see you soon.
Terrific Course
The course is in great shape and there are some very challenging holes. A must play.
Fire ridge
Great course! Loved the layout and the staff was great. Would definitely recommend .
Thanks! Hope to see you again soon. Bring some friends!
You will need all of your clubs here
This is a tale of two nines. Front 9is the original course, extremely hilly with large, slow greens. Most of the back nine gets stretched out, still hilly , but a little more wide open. Some very pretty holes, number 11 in particular. Course was very wet from recent rains, so course played quite long.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, they have a hole by hole chart for first time players. This course was better than I expected, at a great hot deal price
Thank you for the kind words! Sorry about the wetness. Hope to see you again soon.
