Great course to just get out and play
This course is about 40 minutes from the north end of Columbus. I can drive up, play and drive back in the time it takes me to just play at some of the over crowded local courses. Great greens, decent fairways. A nice mix of holes with a couple good par 3's. Staff are always nice. You can't beat it for the money. If you just want to get out and play at your own pace. (Fast or slow) this is a good spot to go.
A nice short course
The par 5's are on the shorter side for me from the tips but made my score (73) very low.
Nice layout with some small elavation changes and blind tee shots.
Rude local golfers that would not allow a single to play through their two foursomes. Just ended up skipping them and coming back to play thoses holes later.
Decent course, worth a little drive. Would play again but not worth the hour-ish drive.
Very nice course
Great course in very good shape for late summer. Tough greens which made it a challenge. Good par 5's for a smaller course. I would recommend this course to any one, and will play again for sure. Clubhouse was one of the nicer ones around.
Nice course.
This course is very challenging for any golfer. They have 4 Par 5's, 2 on the front and 2 on the back so they are spread evenly. The greens & fairways were in in very good condition. The rough was "rough", very short and dirty. My guess from all the rain in June. All in all a very nice course that I would recommend to my golfing friends. We drove about 30 minutes to play here, but it was worth it.. Will play again.
Nice Course
Fun course to play not that challenging over all but some holes are challenging and it is just a fun course to play.
Great golf experience
Staff is very friendly. Course layout is a little difficult to follow, but all round a fun day.
Great time
Great time for ohio golf little wet but still a great day
Good course at a great price.
This course is a bit of a trip, about 40 mins. north of Columbus but well worth the drive. It has what seemed like a new clubhouse and very friendly attendant. The actual course layout is a little confusing but with the help of some friendly locals play with us it was not a problem. The course is not the longest I have ever played but had some challenging greens which I enjoyed very much. Overall I had a great time at Pine Lakes and would say it's definitely worth the drive.
Not a bad course for the money
While the weather was terrible therefore limiting our round to only 9 holes, the course was actually quite nice. Small teeboxes and greens helped accentuate this place. Will come back here for better weather.
Great small greens need accuracy
Excellent course and enjoyable round. Can play this course in a short amount of time and after 4:00pm rate of $20 IN EXCELLENT
Fun Time
This is a fun local course to play. Never seems crowded during the week. Good value for the money.
good value for beginners
Pretty straight forward course with challenging greens. Great pace and friendly staff. Course in decent shape. Great course for beginners learning the game. Had fun!!!
Odd layout
Nice greens. The front was very weird, had to cross fairways and go around greens to find the next hole. TG there was a map or we'd have never found several holes
Pine Lakes
To start off the staff were happy to see us. They asked where we were from, we told them, they told us the greens would about as fast as one of local courses.
After the round, they asked if we enjoyed the course, we did. A nice golf course with country hospitality!
Worth the drive from Colmbus on a Golfnow.com price
Fairly short course and a few challenging greens. Bunkers in need of new finer sand. Greens run thru nicely.
Good course for the golf now price
This course for this part of the state is average. Nothing super nice about it and nothing real bad. It has been getting better in the last few years every time we play. Fairways and tee boxes are average. The greens are the best thing about this fairly short course . The greens roll real nice and are challenging with lots of undulation. The club house has been updated and expanded. They have gas carts and I don't like their stone cart paths-- too bumpy. I usually would avoid them and ride in the grass.
Nice Greens, good value
Short course with many blind shots. No distance markers (a few sprinkler heads did have yardage). Tiny postage stamp crowned greens very difficult to hit when guessing clubs. Greens were sloped, fast and difficult to putt, but speed was consistent. Greens were in spectacular shape. No cart paths so makes for a rough ride. Fairways were adequate. Played very late afternoon, so price was right. Suggestion to course: Install 150 sticks, or concrete markers. The tall 150 yd driving sticks in the middle of fairway would make the course easier to navigate, since there are no cart paths to assist fairway demarcation.
direction on course
the course was in great shape only thing they need to do is make better signs for each Tee box. because you kind of get lost trying to find the next tee box. other than that its a great course.
a nice variety in length on the par 3,4,5's
A nice drive to a good course. Very clean. Breakfast sandwich was outstanding. Consistant greens and fairways were in good shape. Staff very friendly. Very clean clubhouse. wasn't crazy about going through 6 teebox to get to seven. Otherwise, a fun course
