Hit And Miss
This course can truly be amazing at times. I’ve played here countless times with the old and new management. The greens have never looked better. You can feel the affect of not having a ranger due to the course getting backed up and it seems no one ever starts on time. I’ve had a few issues with booking tee times , my group called ahead and asked to play a 6 man scramble 3v3. The person booking the time said it would be fine and that members do it all the time. We ever said we would pay for an extra tee time. But day of after the first hole we had a pool boy come out and tell us to break the group up so we agreed even tho we made the tee time with the pro for the scramble. We asked to finish the hole and then break up and he said ok. Not even 5 minutes later the pro came out and gave us the same speech ( wasting more time and we haven’t even gotten to the time of or second tee time ) it was unprofessional as ever. I will say the course it’s self it great and can be a fun time. The bar and service staff is amazing and I’ve never had a bad meal or experience inside. I’d stay away from weekend play due to it becoming a zoo and you will be rushed so it becomes to expensive for the experience you are getting. If they would give another 10 mins to each tee time or have a ranger to help start the back 9 they wouldn’t have such a backed up course on the weekend.
Fun course
Torrential rain right before our round. Course drained great. Much hillier than expected, especially the front nine. Pace of play was very good and the staff treated us wonderful. Will play again.
Good deal for the money
Nice course especially for the money, fairways nice width but yet challenging.
Quality first visit considering COVID-19
Course in great condition considering the recent rains. Greens rolled well and true; but a bit slow. Little tight in some areas so need to be accurate. Bunkers seemed to all mud and water. Tough walking course with the hills on the front. I’d def return to play again.
Shame
Got a Hotdeal. Read the reviews, visited the website. Arrived to find the back nine closed - the front nine all the greens are punched - ladies league backed up on tee and covering the course.
Layout of the course is interesting and has the potential to be a fun track. That however is a long way off from what I experienced. Only paid $14 for the round but I felt like they should have paid me.
No mention of the closing nor that they had already punched the greens on the front. Just a sign in the proshop stating the back nine was closed.
Gave up after 5 holes and came home. Will not go back and would not recommend using a tee time service until you ask the right questions from someone on the course.
Why do you need a tee time when the course doesn't control it. We had a tee time for 8:30 and when we got to the first tee there was 4 groups waiting at the same time. 3 hours later we finished the first 9 didn't finish back 9. I like the coarse but need to pace play better.
Course is in the best shape I’ve seen in the last 5+ years. Outside of filling in a few bunkers it is beautiful. Taking out more trees has really made the course a lot easier and more fun for the average golfer. One negative is started on #1 which is a 200 yard par 3 which is a very challenging way to start a round.
Arrowhead
The course is looking better than last time I in 2018. Still some more work to be done but going in the right direction.
