Barberton Brookside is a gem of a golf course that has been in Norton, Ohio for many years. It is has always been is great shape with very nice and fast greens that hold good shots. I hope that the course is there for play for a few more years, but it is up for sale to developers. You know what that means, another great golf course will be turned into a terrible housing developing with no class. Get out there and play it while you can.

I booked through golf now for a single tee time that I showed up early for. Even tho I was ten minutes early I was forced to play with another guy that was slated for the same tee time. Had we both been there at our time and not early I wouldn’t have minded this but the manager was adamant on us having to be together which gave me no time to warm up or even use the bathroom. After a few holes they’re grass cutter decided to mow our hole while we were trying to tee off. Many holes had been wet in which the mower left large tracks in the middle of the fairway. Overall boring set up for the overall course. Mind you there was no one on any othe the other holes around us. Overall terrible experience and would rather spend my money somewhere else.

From the moment we walked in the pro shop we felt welcomed, thanks to Pat and Michelle. Course was in great shape from tee to green.....tee boxes could use a little TLC but other than that its a Hidden Treasure, will definitely be back soon.

Very nice course and some very fast greens. We came out to play on a day they were calling for rain. We never saw a drop of rain and had the course to ourselves. We enjoyed it and will be back.

This was the second time I played this course. I booked my tee time off of GolfNow and was able to get 18 with caart for only $10. The course itself was in good shape, but some of the landscaping needed some upkeep. I don't every do anything in the clubhouse, so i can't give a good review of that.

I had not played the course at Barberton Brookside in many years. I really did not remember the course. But I was happy my brother-in-law suggested it. The staff was very friendly and the course was in top notch shape. The fairways were well-groomed and and the greens held our approach shots really well. The clubhouse has seen better days but we went there for the golf, not the amenities.

I play alot of courses including some very big name country clubs yes including Firestone the course has fast for public greens and are true meaning hold shots and roll true great greens and and great challenge for anyone if your a slicer you won't like this course. O B right

The layout of the course was okay but there was piles of grass everywhere in the fairways. Half of our shots from the fairways we had to move the grass. Roughs were even worse. There were two of us and we were following a five some which the ranger said has always been allowed there. No more for me.

Unfortunately it had rained pretty hard a few hours before I tee'd off and the course was closed to all carts so I walked the whole course, they allowed me to use a hand cart at no charge... I really liked the course and it's upkeep, the greens were nice and the fairways well kept
