Willow Run Golf Course
About
Willow Run Golf Course was designed by a ubiquitous name in central Ohio, Jack Kidwell. The local designer played a role in creating many of the state's courses but he infused a different character into each. Willow Run has an interesting layout that will test your shot making skills as well as your course management capabilities. The greens are bentgrass and the fairways are accented with Ohio bluegrass. Correct placement off the tees is the key to doing well, especially on the front nine. Plenty of water comes into play throughout the golf course as well as several strategically placed bunkers. Willow Run's back nine boasts one of the most challenging par 4s in Ohio, the 13th. The green on this tricky hole is fronted by a meandering creek.

Played here several times this summer. Some would say it a short course, but most holes require positions over distance.
Fairways and greens in good condition. Yes some fairways are not pristine, but play well.
Almost all of the traps are playable. That says a llot, courses costing a lot more have only 50% of trap’s playable.
Will return to this course again and again.
Nice Course Great price
I played here a couple years ago heard the course may be closing. I assumed they would let it go if they were closing and I was wrong. The greens were great. Grass is very green.
Cart path is rough, drive on the grass
Not bad when on sale
When you can play and it's on deal it's not bad. But when it's full price the poor cart conditions, terrible in many places cart paths and trash bags of ice when you buy beer is disappointing. The course itself is very nice, but some investment in things would also be nice.
Nice course. Great value
Pace of play was a bit slow but no big thing. Very nice course especially for the value. Joined a twosome and they were both great guys to play with. I'll be back for sure.
Nice enough course for the money
Played Willow Run for the first time. I have a higher handicap and found the course very manageable. I was playing by myself and didn’t run into any issues with pace of play - was able to finish my round in under three hours. My biggest complaint is with the cart paths. I’ve never seen a course with more potholes in their cart paths. The potholes don’t really impact the game, but they’re certainly annoying when you hit four on your way to the next hole and your clubs are banging around. For a $30 round, though, I can’t complain too much.
Great course for the price
The course was pretty good for the price. The greens were really good and fairways were nice. Bunkers not too bad. Overall it worth the money and a great little course to play. Stay off cart paths as they are horrible
This was my first time playing in three years and was a great course to pick golf back up
Would recommend definitely
Great Value
You can’t beat the weekday price including cart. The course is in good shape. Cart paths are awful so drive in the grass.
