Reid Park Golf Club - South Course
About
Reid Park Golf Club has two 18-hole courses available, the North and the South. Originally opened in 1967, Reid Park has established a reputation as one of the best golf values in the area. The South Course is a challenging but playable layout, which is why it is the home course for many of the area's high school teams. The golf course is laid across gently rolling, open terrain that allows for the occasional errant shot. It has a very player-friendly nature and it is easy to walk. The course is not overly punishing but there are still a few challenges in store. If you're looking for a tougher test, the championship North Course is the way to go. In addition to Reid Park's two golf courses, there is also a driving range and two putting greens.

So-so
This course was so-so. Not much variety from hole to hole. Nearly all greens were elevated. Became a bit mundane. Everything was very green and in good condition but just no wow factor to any hole. But, that's how they made courses way back when. Seemed to be overrated on GolfNow.
Beautiful Course
This is a beautiful course with mostly open fairways with trees on the sides. Has some interesting blind holes and a few water hazards. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint is that not every hole is marked, so you really need to consult the course map if you are not familiar with the course. We will definitely play here again. Had a great time and a beautiful fall day.
All over the place layout
Grass a little too long in rough. Lost balls common. Course layout was hard to follow. Seemed like it had been changed from original layout. Had trouble knowing where the next tee was and had to cross in front of a couple of tee boxes and pass close to greens to get to the next hole. Need more signage for players who don't come here often. Lots of blind greens and pin placement was brutal. On the sides of hills on the greens in several cases.

Excellent value for the money
Great course in the Dayton area
I always enjoy playing on this course. It is always in great condition and the pace of play is great. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The layout is easy to follow with having 2 courses. And for $10 as a hot deal, you can't beat that price anywhere. I will definitely be going again soon.
Great deal on sale
Paid $27 for 2 people riding. Good course for the money. I had not played the South course in a couple of years, so it was a relatively new experience for me and totally new for my golf buddy. The greens are challenging and since it has been dry lately they were extremely had to hit and stay on. Although not as challenging as the North course, I would recommend the South course for a change of pace.

Great day for golf and the course was in excellent shape
Great course
Played both north and south course. This course is always in great condition. Great layout didnt have to wait at any hole and no one had to wait on us. Very very enjoyable
Great course
Very nice course, greens were fast, but in good condition. Not much water to contend with, and NO sand traps. Overall, a very nice course. Note that Reid has two courses, and both are very nice. Great value for golf, especially when one books a "hot deal"
Another good golf day.
Course in good shape, Greens better than other courses around. Played alone on Saturday afternoon.
Creating my on slow play
Slow Play Day
Extremely busy and slow pace of play. Waited on a foursome that wouldn't let us play through as a scramble couple. Finally gave up since it was so slow. Not a good idea to play on a Sunday afternoon. Was told no waiting for later in the day by other friends.
in town for a meeting
was in town for a meeting and played both the north and the south. courses were in great condition. I got stuck behind a league, so round took longer than expected on the 2nd day. The first day, I was able to skip around some slower players and circle back to play the holes I had skipped. I played all 18 in 2 hours.
Player friendly
Beautiful course with some hills great cut fairways very nice greens. I thought overall player friendly wide fairways and lots of trees but very nice course
Ok
Course itself was good however i became frustrated after finding out there were 2 leagues and a high school even
Nice course
Nice course a little busy but that is to be expected this time of year. Overall nice place
Well laid out course
I Like the overall layout of the course. Friendly staff.
