Reid Park Golf Club - South Course
About
Reid Park Golf Club has two 18-hole courses available, the North and the South. Originally opened in 1967, Reid Park has established a reputation as one of the best golf values in the area. The South Course is a challenging but playable layout, which is why it is the home course for many of the area's high school teams. The golf course is laid across gently rolling, open terrain that allows for the occasional errant shot. It has a very player-friendly nature and it is easy to walk. The course is not overly punishing but there are still a few challenges in store. If you're looking for a tougher test, the championship North Course is the way to go. In addition to Reid Park's two golf courses, there is also a driving range and two putting greens.

This course is in great shape, even well into November.
Fairways trim, neat and free of fall leaves. Greens rolled true.
Great shape for early spring
The course was nice and green. Greens rolled pretty true, slower than usual. Pace was a little slow about 10 minute for each tee shot.
Horrible customer service
Booked a 3pm tee time and when I arrived I was informed that I had to be done by 530pm. Why in the world would you offer 18 holes knowing you can't be done in 2.5 hrs? The man working the check in counter was extremely rude. I'm sorry but if you hate your job this much, then quit.
Course conditions were horrible. Couldn't figure out where the fairway started and ended.
Will NEVER return.....too many course in the tri state that are 1000% better.
Pace
Pace of play would’ve been so much better had the course enforced it’s rule of matching up 4somes,Had two 2somes in front of us and have no idea what might have been in front of them.
Playing a 5 hour round in nice weather is not fun for anyone.
I will make sure my next play will be during the midweek mornings.
For the summer conditions the fairways and greens were in good shape.
The staff seemed to be pleasant and attentive.
It needs a lot of work
I will not be playing this course for a while. The fairways were rough and needed to be cut. The greens were bad with ant hills throughout.
Best Value
Went for an 18-round in the middle of the day.
Got a really good deal through golfnow.
The condition in few holes was poor but overall the course layout was fun especially the greens were challenging enough to make it fun.
Id highly recommend this course to high handicap golfers. It may be boring and less entertaining to lower handicap golfers.
Reid Park South
I was going to play alone, but ended up hooking up with a guy & his little son for the front 9. Then I played with two other strangers who were members on the back nine.
