Reid Park Golf Club - North Course
About
There are two 18-hole courses at Reid Park Golf Club, the North and the South. The courses have been providing one of the greater Springfield area's best golf values for over 40 years. The championship North Course is the longer and more challenging of the two. The South Course is open and walkable while the North Course features a hillier terrain with elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Mature trees frame the large, slick greens and there are also strategically placed bunkers throughout. Many locals consider it to be one of the toughest golf courses in the area. Though there are different tees so that you can play to your skill level, beginners may want to stick with the South Course, which still has challenges but is more player-friendly than the North.

Reid North
On the plus side was the course was open and carts were out. The downside was a battle all day with the recently aerated course. Reid frequently offers great deals through Golf Now with two challenging 18 hole courses.. The clubhouse if open, however, the kitchen/beverage facility is closed for the season.
Great, tough layout
The course was in excellent condition. Best greens I’ve played in all year.
North course is pretty challenging
Played the north course before reading the course description. I found it to be very challenging with not a lot of room for errant shots. Enjoyed it but will play the south course next time.
Reid North
It was a perfect fall day for golf. There are a lot of trees on Reid North so it can be challenging finding your ball amongst the leaves if you leave the fairway.
The course is always in good shape and includes several shot-shaping holes.
One of the best values in the area
Great, challenging golf, friendly staff, and the best burgers in town. You can't beat a trip to Reid Park; it's a complete package, a true value in golf anytime of year.
Always a Challenge
Do love this layout of this course. It can be challenging if you spray the ball. The bunkers needed a lot of work, but the greens were excellent.
Nice day of golf
Overall loved the course. Sand traps actually need some sand in them. Lost a few balls in the thicker grass. The north course is definitely better than the south in my opinion. Accommodating staff even with my scheduling error and breakfast sandwich hit the spot. I would recommend anytime for a nice day of golf.
Course
My only complaint is the course needs a little more attention.. great food. Also the young lady who was working in the bar. Was amazing. Great food, awesome peoples skills.
Wrong address!!
Great course with a great value!! But beware!! GolfNow has the WRONG ADDRESS!!
Challenging
A good layout. Challenging course the first time you play it. The greens are not flat so figuring out where to hit the ball to avoid the three putt is critical to scoring well. There are plenty of hilly lies that can be challenging as well. Would like to play the course again.
Great value
Affordable and very challenging. It’s not in the greatest shape, due to players not fixing their ball marks and divots. Overall a great course for the money.
Great course
I play this course once a month. Difficult course, but you are rewarded for good shots.
