Turn and Churn
Tee boxes are awful. I thought I vowed never to play here again the last time I played. You get what you pay for. Never again.
Enjoyable course
This course is well located and offers wide, accessible fairways. Some well laid out holes and generally the course was in good condition. A little busy and slow paced all the way round. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Good challenge, in nice condition and lots of fun to play. Can't beat the value.
New course for me
Course has a very nice layout but just requires a little investment to get it up to a great course. I enjoyed my round and will play again on my next visit to Florida.

Greens good, fairways thin but ok. For the money,an ok experience One big problem, .no water stations or ball washers on course. Bring your own water and spit on your ball to clean it..

Decent course for the money
I got a decent price of $49 for a Saturday morning and I haven’t played here in over a year so thought I would try it again. Staff is always nice and friendly. Driving range is in poor shape as it was last time I was here. Tee boxes were mostly in good shape besides a few holes. I thought the greens were the best part of the round. They were all in good shape and rolled true. The fairways still need a lot of work. Lot of dead grass and just looks like they don’t water nearly enough. I don’t know if I will be back soon due to this. Most of the other courses in the Orlando area with similar price are in much better shape. Will come again if I hear it is in better shape.

nice but pace of play poor
c'était la première fois que nous jouions ce golf
l'entretien est correct, mais beaucoup de trous se ressemblent, et le temps de jeu était extrêmement long ( 4h 45mn) , nous navons jamais vu un commissaire pour faire accélérer le jeu
de plus il faisait froid
nous ne reviendrons pas
Such a Disappointment
Got out of office early on Friday on a perfect weather day and had a 2pm tee time - should have been ample time to play, even on a busy day.
Showed up and checked in - nobody at bag drop. OK, walked down to starter area - nobody there. A line was formed waiting on range balls. Walked in to pay, there was a line to pay. The place was busy and packed. As it should be on a perfect day.
I saw so many people just standing around, so I walked up to the one guy working when he appeared and asked about getting a cart. He said they were out of carts. It was 1:35 in the afternoon, and the 1:14 tee time group was standing there still waiting on a cart. I had already paid and expressed my displeasure in that they didn't tell us they were 7-8 groups behind. Needless to say, I knew we wouldn't be finishing our round. We finally teed off 40 minutes late. We played our round and had to leave after the 14th hole due to darkness and pace of play. I've never heard of a course running out of carts before.
The one guy handing out range balls was super nice, and he was in a tough spot because he had a lot of unhappy people around. He offered us free beer, which we took.
This place is the closest course to me, and I used to frequent it all the time. I've stayed away for a while and now I remember why. The club is not a fraction of what it used to be. Bad food, bad service, no longer a true pro shop. Course conditions nowhere close to where they used to be. Greens were ok, but spotty in places.
Do not play here if you enjoy a good golf experience or a nice course. When the price is low, you generally get what you pay for, but that wasn't even the case at MetroWest.

Venerable layout
Metrowest is an older style Florida course. With a great layout and design that’s a little frayed around the edges. Maybe one of the best values in Orlando, the management has scaled back the clubhouse amenities but if you’re looking for a fair test of golf at the most reasonable prices, Metrowest is your course

Good value for money
This is the second time we played this course this year. Maybe it was because it was Sunday- there was no starter available, so we just teed off with another couple. Bathrooms had no paper. The one on number 10 wouldn’t open with code( women’s) and the bathroom on hole 13 was still out of order. Pace was very slow- no ranger ever came out to check.
Having said this , the course is good and price unbeatable
