Valleywood Golf Club

We were set up with a single player who was hitting several balls. It was somewhat distracting

I booked this round for myself and a friend. We started playing and a few holes into the round we caught up with the group in front of us. The problem was that the group had 5 players. The group continued playing the remainder of the round and never offered to let us play through. The guy I was playing with said this had happened to him previously at this course. We will not return to Valleywood because management allows groups of 5 to play and the golfers are inconsiderate and do not follow good golf etiquette.

Played in February so can't really comment much on the conditions as they have not started cutting grass yet. Sand traps were in good shape. More uphill approach shots than I expected. Course was very crowded but play moved along quite nicely.

Nice course but without a doubt the worst smelling ball washers ever!

I've yet to find a course as well kept, fun, and challenging for under 30 dollars in Toledo. The value is unbeatable. interesting layout, some decent topography, and plush fairways. This is my, "go-to" course. If you're passing through and have to pick 1 course to play, I'd go with Legacy or Stoneridge, but if you have already played those, this should be your very next stop.

Course was in as good a condition as I've seen in last few years. Less than 4 hours. We got to watch the Air Force Thunderbirds practice for the air show as well as the Army's Golden Knights.

We played Valleywood on Monday the 4th of July. 12:52 pm tee time and started on time and we finished before 5:00 pm. Course is in great shape and greens were pretty quick! Overall a great time for the four of us average golfers.

FIRST TIME THERE , ONLY TROUBLE WAS FINDING THE PRO SHOP AROUND BACK OF BUILDING..

The course is in excellent condition. Not crowded for a memorial day. I expected a 5 hour round but finished in under four. Highly recommend and I will be returning soon.

Not too challenging but better than a par 3 for beginners

Maybe it's just my references or maybe it was just the day I went, but wasn't my best round of golf. The course was pretty straightforward but overbooked and slow. I can find other courses closer to home that move along better and are more creatively designed.

This is my favorite course close to home that I have played. Great value. I think you will agree.

Make sure before you book that there is no outing going on. Start time was delayed. There were no carts. Took 3 hours to play 9 holes. Very backed up because of an outing.

Half of the course was closed but didn't discover this until arrival at the course. Talked to a foursome that made tee times well in advance of ours and they were not told about half the course being closed either.
Does not build loyal customer base.

Better than expected. Nice course!! Go play!! Take someone that won't make ya look bad!!

Golf course was great but golfnow website had lots of problems. Very disappointed.

Another fairly straight forward course with not a lot of trouble. The front nine edges the exterior of the grounds, so O.B. comes into play if you're tee shot goes astray. The back nine is more challenging with some very nice golf holes. If you want a challenge, play from the tips. The "eagle's nest" is great for a beer and some very affordable dining.
