Miami Shores Golf Club
About
Donald Ross designed Miami Shores Golf Club in 1949. Since then, the course has had the front greens renovated in the 70s and the back nine's were updated in the 90s, but the best features of the original design have been carefully preserved. The municipal golf course covers 130 acres but it is seemingly short at just over 6,200 yards, a characteristic of older courses. The classic layout has fairways that are straight and offer some room for error, but there are stands of mature trees situated throughout the course that golfers will have to contend with. If you are used to playing longer, more modern layouts, Miami Shores provides an interesting contrast that is also a challenging but fair test. The course's affordability is also an appealing factor.

Miami Shores A Great Place To Get Healthy
I typically play Miami Shores once or twice a year. She is always in immaculate shape and has beautiful deceptively fast greens. Her fairways are generous in width, length, and are about as flat as you will find in south west Ohio.
Miami Shores staff is always nice and helpful. Currently the course is set up with great care to observe the appropriate COVID-19 PROTOCOL.
Miami Shores is a great course to play when one finds themselves struggling and out of sorts with their game. Her flat fairways offer no shots above or below your feet. The greens are always in beautiful shape and are large and flat. She is a fun course no matter how well or poorly one is playing and I recommend everyone should play her and bring friends along that have not yet had the pleasure.
Miami Shores
Really loved playing the course. Fairways and greens were in good shape. When we arrived the young man at the checkin was very polite and cordial. It was nice that the snack bar was open for carryout. The lady there was very polite and helpful.
Overall the course had some challenging holes. Shorter par fours were made difficult with the green slants will definitely be back. I also liked the way they were able to let ball in the whole but still able to get ball out with no problem . Best I have seen this year to defend against the coronavirus
Good game
Everything was good and I thought the course handled the distance requirements very well
Great Green Complexes
The green complexes were by far the most interesting part of the course. The greens themselves were rolling slow, but they definitely had a lot of the typical Donald Ross style. Nothing else too remarkable about the course. Good value, and the pace wasn't too bad. They could have a heck of a track if they added some fairway bunkers, tall fescue and tightened up the mow lines.
Nice Outting
Nice Outting
great course, nice staff, weather was nice but windy. Had a few slow players in front of me otherwise very good time. I will definitely go back.
No soft drinks or snacks due to corona virus stupidity.
Great course!
For early March this course was in great shape. There were some bare spots but overall in very nice shape. Played from the "tips" if you want to call them that as they are only 6400 yards. The greens are the real challenge here. Good amount of mounding and sloping from back to front on most greens. The greens were also in very nice shape for this time of year. I really enjoyed the round.
Great course great staff
It was a week after our 1st snow and course was in good shape only bad thing was our 2some got stuck behind a 4some of walkers that wouldn't let us through we had the way every shot so at the turn we stopped and got something to eat to give them some room guy behind the counter was real friendly had real good chicken tenders then end up catching the walkers on the 13th hole and still wouldn't let us through
