Beckett Ridge Country Club
About
Beckett Ridge Golf Club was designed by Jack Kidwell, a well known name in Ohio golf. The course has a classic design that is inlaid with meandering streams that weave through stands of mature trees. The rolling landscape was deftly incorporated into the golf course. The layout offers a variety of holes ranging from long to short, tight to open. It is definitely a course that requires some strategy. One of the most memorable holes is the par-5 fifth. It measures 541 yards, but this downhill hole plays much shorter. There are out-of-bounds on either side and the tricky fairway slopes right to left but with some strategy and a little skill it is possible to make it home in two. Beckett Ridge is one of Southwest Ohio's best golf courses.

10th Hole at Beckett Ridge Photo submitted by Wahwah87 on 04/10/2013
Good Bang for the Buck
I'd play here again, pace of play was pretty smooth given that it was Labor Day. It was an easy process to get the cart and get going. The greens were a little bumpy on the front 9, bunkers were in good shape, and tee boxes for the most part were in good shape too. I only one remember one fairway that noticeably patchy. All in all, a nice day out on the course!
Good, not great. Price not justified...yet.
Course conditions are improving. Fairways and greens are pretty good. Rough around greens is really poor though. Missing a green by a few feet could lead you to a hard pan lie. Bunkers are getting better but still not consistent.
Recent price increase (assuming due to the new clubhouse) is not in line with the quality of the course. Understand you went from a trailer to a clubhouse but that is a standard amenity of a golf course that now you are having to overcharge your customers to have. Probably should have stuck to the trailer and put that money into the course. Then the higher price would be justifiable.
Lastly the guy in the pro shop charged me more than GolfNow said I had left to pay. Seemed shady...
Nice golf course, but many bad manners' golfer
There were many rude and bad manners' golfers on the course. One of the golf etiquettes is considering other player, but there are many selfish 4 some who never ever yield other fast golf players. They tooks tons of time with slow play. Even the ranger did not consider the pace of playing time. It was miserable experience.
Way too much money
It’s totally ridiculous to charge this much to golf at a mediocre course. Tee boxes were horrible shape pace of play was also bad. There are city courses in Hamilton that charge half of the price and way better playing shape.
My experience
Will play there again but I do hope that golfers can start paying inside and not at a camper.
Things are getting better
Corse if in good shape and they almost have the cart paths replaced. Club house isn’t open yet but hope the inspectors get things checked off soon.
My new go to place!
Great greens!
Very fair fairways! No pun..They reward good shots and are forgiving for small mistakes.
If you draw or slice too much, well then, take your medicine!
They do need to get the GPS issue fixed. At least have better signage, GPS tells you wrong directions for getting to the parking.
Bad conditions
This course at one time used to be very nice. It has went downhill. The pins look like they’ve been there for at least a week. The grass around the holes were long there were so many places where everything was just burn out and then there is a lot of wet places very inconsistent. There’s no way this is worth $54 a person more like $20 a person. Such sad shape will never play that again plus there’s a guy in the trailer were you check in and the sign reads do not step inside the trailer so you got a yell to the guy in the trailer to ask questions it’s a really stupid set up too bad they didn’t put the money into the course like they did on some of the cart piles. This is the most disappointing golf course. I’ve played all year.
