Greens are great
course struggled with greens but they are back and are very good. Lots of work in trees and condition of the course. Plays really great.
Might be losing greens again
i love playing this course, but they might be losing the greens again. There are a lot of bumps on the greens that are bare with not a lot of grass in them. I hope it isn't the case but this issue is new within the last few weeks. Disappointing
Great
First time playing this course, and great experience. Would definitely come back!
Fairways are in good shape
The fairways are in good shape but they still have some sandy greens. Min a few more weeks the course should be in great shape.
Great layout, great staff, quality course
Haven't played a ton of golf this year but Coffee Creek has by far been the best experience. Challenging but fun layout, food was excellent, staff went above and beyond. Greens struggled last year but are all back in great shape and made for a very enjoyable round. Finished my round right at the 4 hour mark which surprised me because of how busy the course was. Will definitely be back.
Great course for the money!
Great course layout, friendly staff, will definitely be coming back!
Good Response to Prior Issues
Since my last review two weeks ago Coffee Creek has worked hard to improve the condition of their greens. Their staff (particularly Kevin, asst. Pro) took the time to address my concern about attitude with how they greeted a single golfer playing the course. My most recent round was a very good experience. Good to know that someone was willing to take action on issues observed by an senior golfer playing at discounted rates.
BAD Course Condition and Staff Attitude
Having played Coffee Creek several times in the past year and in the past month I was surprised at how bad the greens had become in the past two weeks. At this point the green are only sand/pebbles with little grass on each green. What was more surprising was the attitude of the "new" staff at the course. They seems displeased that I was playing as a single (as I normally do) and were very unfriendly and unprofessional. Both of the conditions are new for Coffee Creek Golf club and I hope will be corrected immediately.
Will coffee ever be good again?
Deadpan Fairways, bunker like tee boxes, greens still bad, metal spikes wouldn't make a mark let alone your ball. They got me again but I feel like they won't fool me again.
coffee creek golf course
The course was in good shape considering the weather and time of year. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. The club pro gave me a ride to the driving range to meet my playing partner. He even loaded and unloaded my clubs! The only bad side was our cart went dead but luckily we were on the 9th hole. They quickly got us another cart. Greens were big and in good shape. The cashier/cook was very sweet and helpful as well. She explained the membership in great detail.
Greens are terrible
Greens are terrible fairways below average for the amount of rain we have had this year
u535771202,
We appreciate your coming to play Coffee Creek Golf Course on November 9th 2014. As most golfers in the area are aware the greens at Coffee Creek died in the early spring of 2014 and we have been growing them back during the season this year. They have come a long way as our maintenance crew has done tremendous job bring them back. As we go forward into 2015 we highly expect that our greens will back to the excellent conditions they were in all through the 2012 and 2013 seasons. We hope that you will come give us a try again next spring.

Coffee Creek
The greens will be very nice next summer. Many trash or waste areas have been cleaned up and some tree removal has taken place. New blue tee box on 10 makes this a more challenging hole. 18 is a much more appealing to the eye hole. I hope when greens are back and healthy in summer of '15, they will be cut a little shorter. Look forward to playing again.
dqecm,

Walked off
Tough day because of a tourney, walked off after playing the tenth. Sad thing is I asked to go off early as a single ahead of the tourney teams and wasn't allowed. Kinda sad and don't think I'll be back.
Dylan,
I am sorry that your experience was not satisfactory. Unfortunately being a single allowed you to play much faster than we had designed the flow of the day to go. That is our fault not yours. Feel free to contact me personally and I would be glad to set you up with a free round on a day that is more open to a single golfer.

Great deal on GolfNow!
Greens were slow and in mediocre shape. Someone commented that they had been battling some kind of grass fungus on the greens.......Fairways and rough and landscaping were all in superb shape though!
Scherms,
Thank you for your review of Coffee Creek Golf Course. Yes our greens died from extreme cold weather in the spring of 2014. They have been improving throughout the year and are very close to being in the excellent shape. We hope to see you back soon.

Decent course for the price
I actually enjoy playing this course. Just hope they get the green situation figured out. It's still bumpy and sandy in spots on most greens. I'm not a great putter anyway so this doesn't help.
Thank you for your comments about Coffee Creek Golf Course. after having a tough 2014 do to extreme weather conditions, we fully expect that our greens will be in excellent shape next year.
We hope to see you back soon.

Good course but greens are bad
The course was in pretty good condition except for the greens. The fairways were green and plush. Only the outer borders were hard and brown. The greens were not in good condition at all. Several were burned, dry, and patchy. The 17th green was almost completely this way. You pretty much had to putt your ball in the general direction of the cup and hope it didn't bounce too much.

Thank you for playing Coffee Creek Golf Course. Yes the greens were in pretty bad shape this year. During the spring of 2014 they died from extreme low temperatures in March. This summer, our staff worked diligently to bring them back and we expect the greens to be back in excellent condition in 2015.
We hope to see you back soon.

Worse ive played
This was the worst shape course I have ever played. Greens were half dirt and very scabby. Don't think I would ever play there again even it was free.
From Management
As you might know Coffee Creek Golf Course had extreme damage to the greens in the spring of 2014. We have spent this summer growing them back in. We have compensated customers with deep discounting, easy rain check policies and have worked hard to make all players aware of our current conditions. The golf course from tee to green is in excellent condition and the greens are a work in progress.
Over the last few years the greens have been in excellent condition and will be again in a few weeks.
We apologize for the current conditions and hope that you will consider coming back in the future.
