Great course friendly staff
Very nice staff great place for family or friends and some good golfing
Sadly disappointed at the condition of the course
This course looks to be very rarely maintained! But i did only pay $15 for the tee time. Still would not recommend it or want to go back in the near future.
Gem of a course in Enid Okla.
Really fun links course with lots of potential. Beautiful treeless setting with natural grasses lining the fairways. Forget about the ball if you go in there, but generous fairways. Small to medium size greens, some of which were spotty. They get the green situation under control and it’s all five stars. Personally I liked the fact that some areas had a roughness to them as it reminded me of some of the Scottish courses I’ve seen on TV. Everyone was very friendly and Bogies grill was really good and the service was great.
The course needs some TLC, it has a nice layout, but should be able to hit off grass when you hit the ball in the middle of the fairway.
Courses needs a lot of love.
This course is in poor condition. Greens are unputtable and the overall conditions show that it is hurting for money to maintain it in general.
Don't waste your money!
I've played this course since its opening in 1998 and have never seen it in such poor shape. I hate to see it go to waste. It's a nice layout and design but that's it. Don't waste your time or money.
Pheasant Run Enid OK
Great to see they allow Golf Now Deals. The food is the best kept secret in Enid OK. Alcohol Beverages are priced good for a golf course. The staff is very friendly, The course is in alright shape, could be better if players would have more respect and fix all divots on the greens, the greens are challenging both in size and step, one day very fast the time you play. They are still in a lot better shape than Meadow Lake the other public course.. I hope Golf Now can get Boiling Springs in Woodward Ok to get on board, maybe Turkey Creek in Hennessy Ok.
Pheasant Run Enid Ok
Bogies has great food coldest beer in Enid the course is challenging the greens would be great if everyone would repair their divots The price using Golf Now is great because of Pheasnt Run being apart of the GolfNow family it allows us to play more often and enjoy the course more frequently leaving more money to eat a great meal in Bogies one of the best kept secrets in Enid the food is awesome the drinks are not watered down like other places and the price is great one of the best steaks and hand breaded chicken frys in town
Pheasant Run Enid Ok
Thanks to pheasant Run for allowing Golfers to use the Golf Now App at their location This is a great course. With great people and food running the restaurant We will be back many more times
Very challenging course
This course is great for the average golfer. It is just challenging enough to keep you on your toes and play your best golf.
Nice course for the money!
It's a very well kept course, challenging holes, and nice scenery! Would recommend playing here for the money.
Call ahead, just in case
Before you book a bargain, you might want to call ahead to see if there is a tournament scheduled. We booked a great hot deal price and drove 90 minutes to get there only to find out that their womens association scheduled a tournament on that day...the unfortunate thing here is that they allowed 8 ( 2 teams on each hole) players to run through there scramble tournament. They had 7 groups and started at 10am.. our Tee time was 1230 and we caught up with the group that started off on #1..at the 9th hole. ( it took them 4 hours to play a 9 hole scamble)
Unfortunately, we gave up at the turn, and decided to go back home. Why the pro shop allowed this I don't know or why wasn't the tee sheet blocked out for a longer period of time to allow them to do this their way. Truly understand that you have to cater to members, but this could have been a better situation. Now, other than that and the wind, I do like the course. Not very difficult and it was in decent shape. The wind play havoc with a lot of the shots.
( oh by the way, this is the 2nd time this has happened, but the previous time was handled much better with the tee time slots and was not a big factor)
Poor Course
Like other reviews I would say this course is in very bad shape. The skirts around the green were full of weeds but only where there wasn't dirt. The tee boxed weren't really defined well, and in bad shape. It was difficult to find the fairway a lot of the time, and there were several holes where the trees are out of control. The ball washers when we found one were bone dry or full of mud. The older gentleman in the club house wasn't particularly pleasant, but he wasn't rude either. We saw only a few other players and they seemed to have the same opinion we did. I would not recommend this course until they get things in better shape. If I had not have had the hot deal from this site I would have been pretty upset.
NEED LOTS OF WORK
GREENS IN BAD SHAPE. LOTS OF UNREPAIRED DIVETS. SKIRTS AROUND GREEN VERY BUMPY AND FULL OF WEEDS OR SOME KIND OF GRASS. VERY HARD TO PLAY A SHOT FROM THESE AREAS. SAND TRAPS NOT RAKED, SOME FULL OF WATER NEED TO FIX DRAINAGE IN THOSE TRAPS. SAND IN TRAPS FEELS MORE LIKE DIRT THAN SAND. THERE ARE NO WORKING BALL WASHERS ON COURSE. ONLY WAY TO CLEAN GOLF BALLS WAS TO FIND SOME STANDING WATER. EVEN THOUGH NOT VERY MANY PEOPLE PLAYING THAT DAY THE OLDER MAN AT THE COUNTER GAVE HARD TIME TO ME. I GOT THERE AT 0855 FOR 0900 TEE TIME AND HE WAS COMPLAINING ABOUT US BEING LATE. I GOT THE IMPRESSION HE DID NOT LIKE US UYSING GOLF NOW. I WILL SAY THE PRICE WAS A GOOD VALUE. AND THE CLUB HOUSE IS VERY NICE. NEED TO SPEND AS MUCH MONEY ON COUSE AS DID ON CLUB HOUSE. I WOULD RECOMMEND TO A FREIND FOR THE GOLF NOW PRICE NOT TO PAY FULL PRICE
Worth the 1.5 hr drive from OKC
Drove out from OKC for a Sunday morning round. Wind was fair with minimal gusts. Course is in a lot better shape than many of the courses in OKC. Greens were superb and rolled smoothly and were moderate-fast speed. Fairways were in good condition, while the rough was not differentiable from the fairway.
Overall, I would drive the 70+ miles to play this course again.
I'm a 2.7 handicap
Pheasant Run
Greens are in great shape
Manager does NOT like people with GOLF NOW Hot Deal
It is a typical local golf course. People are nice there except one guy. An older gentleman who looks like a manager or owner (...I don't know his name and position) does NOT like people with Golf Now.com reservation. Especially, Hot Deals. I have been there several times. Only this person gave me a problem. Like other reviews about this golf course, it is not well-maintained. Fairway is like rough. Try to avoid this course.
