nice course, rough greens
Very nice course, very spread out and open. Few trees play into any fairway. Only complaint would be the greens. They were aeriated last week but on the front there were several with bare spots and runs making it very tough to roll across.
This is a long course
I have played this before and later In the season it will be in much better condition. The greens had been aerated and the fairways were still dormant. Very challenging course with some great holes
one of the best 4-state area
One of my favorite courses in the area. Great design. The course is on a very scenic piece of property. The only downside was several greens have some damage. The course is still very playable despite the slight damage of greens. They have just opened their new clubhouse which offers spectacular views off their patio overlooking the 18th green. A must play for golfers of all skill levels.
best value within driving distance of grand lake.
With exception to shangri la, this Course in my opinion provides the best value within driving distance of grand lake. Friendly staff, challenging course. Lot of fun.
I like the course layout. But I played the course in mid-February and several greens had become spotty.
Most of the greens had bad spots. I liked the layout of the course and I would expect if you played it in the early spring it would be beautiful.
Good shape but greens could use some help.
The course itself in in great shape. Fairways and bunkers are very good. The only thing I could even think about saying anything about would be the condition of the Greens. They were cut really to the point of some spots beginning to turn brown. In my opinion, if the course would raise the mower blades a bit and let the greens grow out just a bit, it would be darn near perfect.
Well kept course with several par 5's and very nice fairways.
Great experience every time I have gone and I will be going back.
Simply 5 stars
Everything you would expect in a championship course. If you ever can get this course for less than $25 it's a steal. You can many times get it for $15.
The best public course in the area
It's a wonderful golf course in great shape always and a good test of golf. It has four sets of men tees so you can play it at your own yardage.
Awesome layout.
The course layout is really nice. The bermuda was dormant but still played OK. The greens had just been aerated so they were a bit bumpy. Been here before in summer and it's very nice.
Nice course
I took my brother and nephew there yesterday and we had a great family outing.
Great course
A good mix of challenging holes from trees, grasses, water and lots of sand. Keeps you thinking
This course is playable for anyone offering 5 teeing areas per hole!
The course was in great shape considering the 100 degree temps the previious weeks! Greens were fast and in great shape. Played in a 4-some, got around in less than 4 hours.
Very enjoyable, would recommend it to anyone!
