Pace of play
Pace of play is non existent every time I play. No marshal to enforce it either. Random members (mens group) hops on holes at random times and slows pace of play even more. Horrible management
Could be a great course
This course was really challenging and fun to play. The only downer was it doesn’t have a working irrigation system for the fairways. Dry is an understatement. But you do get a tone more rollout on your drives. The Par 5s are all challenging and fun to play. I’d play it again.
Course is not taken care of
Surrey would truly be a great course if it was taken care of. The ground is hard as concrete, there’s weeds all over the course, the greens are in rough shape (better than what they were last year). It’s very unfortunate. The layout is awesome and the course is fun to play. It’s just impossible to have a good round with the current course conditions. PLEASE INSTALL IRRIGATION ON ALL 18 HOLES. This would fix 90% of course issues
Slowly improving
There are still several greens with large bald areas but the other areas of the greens are sreadily improving since spring. I just moved my ball on the green to avoid putting over the bald areas Fairways are in good shape. Tee boxes are still rough on most holes. I’m looking forward to the continued course conditions
Course was in bad shape. Fairways bare and in need of watering. Greens bumpy from previous aeration that hadn't healed. Not worth the price to play. Won't return.
Do not pay the money to play here
It took us 2 hours and 50 minutes to play nine holes. The greens were atrocious, they were punched and had bald spots everywhere and the fairways were not mowed so it was like hitting out of the rough when you went on dirt, it was over crowded like I had never seen, there were two groups waiting at every hole on top of everything.
Surrey hills
Nice course, some of the greens still need a little work but overall they weren’t terrible. We make sure to play here at least a couple of times year.
Awesome course
Awesome course. I’ll continue to come regularly. Course is in great condition except a few greens could use some help. Over all great experiences every time I go.
Starter
The starter is on The Weeknd, but often needs to be a starter on days during the week. People have started outside of their tee time. Maybe a loud speaker, intercom, something to announce tee time at first tee.
