Excellent for kids and beginners
Course was in its best condition that I have seen. We really like the simplicity of this course because it’s perfect for kids. Adults - you will only need a 7, wedge, putter
The Children’s Course Never Fails
Great Par 3 venue and so much fun for the kids and beginners to learn on.
Great family fun
This course is great for improving your short game and getTing your child started in golf. Very fun for the family.
great for new golfers. but that's about all
Nice place to take new golfers. All par 3's 90-150 yards. Nothing special about this course but the classes they run for kids. tee to green it needs some work. Bare patches on greens, very wet for all the sun we have had. Nothing special about this place.
Perfect place for kids
I highly recommend this course for all players but especially for bringing out kids who are learning the game and want to play more in a supportive environment.
Layout
None of the reviews talked about the course layout...
For a 9 hole par 3, very good variety of short and long holes. For the better golfer, they course will challenge your ability to hit high shots over and around trees.
Some holes are narrow, but generally forgiving and limited trouble (which makes sense for a children's course).
It is good see a course like this!
Beautiful day to play gold
Everything was lovely, they apologized because we had to wait but I didn't even notice the time, we had such a good time on Father's day.
Going down memory lane
This was a course that I enjoyed playing in my teens. Back then it was a Par 3 18 hole layout. It is now a 9 hole layout that is still enjoyable to play.
Nice course for kids and beginners to play
I would recommend for kids and beginners to play at Children's golf course.
Enjoyable
Took my 7 year old golfing for the first time and we really enjoyed ourselves.
I wasn't sure what to expect at a starters course. I wasn't sure if he would be able to get through it all or if he would be frustrated. The course lends itself to beginners better than expected. The fairways are straight, the greens are perfect for a starter, only limited sand traps which are placed out of the way a bit so rare to land in one. They are flatter than most traps so even if you land in one it is very achievable to get out on the first try.
The pace was good and it wasn't just kids there. In front of us was a group of 5 adults. Behind us was an older couple. Was a great experience. I'm looking forward to future rounds there.
Thank you!
Great family course
This is a great course to relax and enjoy the game of golf with the family. The staff and the patrons were pleasant and we can bring the whole family from the grandkids to Grampa without feeling like we have to hustle through. We are looking forward to our next visit to the Children's Course!
Great for kids learning the game.
Great place to take kids who are learning the game. Pace of play is good for them so they don't feel rushed.
