This club is comfortable place..
friendly staff, good green fee... good for beginner or seniors..
Good Value for a quick round.
It is a very good value. Regular green fee rate is $10/9 Holes. Is very close and convenient for me.
Fun & friendly course
I really like this course. It's not super long & Hardly ever busy. It's aneasy course to get on to. Whether you are trying to get a tee time or like in my case, just living within a mile, showing up and sneaking on. There's some trees that make a few holes challenging and a couple par 3's that are over 200 yards. It's always in great condition. Greens and fairway are always well manicured. Again, I really like this course. Value, speed of play and a great staff make this course very enjoyable! Can't wait to get back out there!
Short and sweet
Second time playing here...this is a fairly easy short course, flat terrain, easy to walk, no blind shots, friendly staff. Greens have subtle breaks, and were quite fast this time requiring focus to avoid missing an easy par putt! (1st time I played here was right after aeration, and greens were slow.) Course is pretty well maintained, relaxed pace of play is good at about 1.5 hours per 9.
Greens were incredible today.
It was great to get nine holes in after lunch. Course was not crowded and we flowed along just fine. They had aerated 6 weeks prior and I was surprised at how great the greens were...and fast. Will definitely go back.
Great value
This is a great course to go out and practice your short game. Perfect to practice my new set of clubs.
Good course for great price
Good course with a great price. The prohibition of alcohol is the reason there's no 5th star.
Nice course, fairly priced
King City is only a mile or two from where we live so my brother and I go there frequently. Without golfnow.com we pay $12-$14 depending if you go early or after 4pm but pops up online every once and awhile. This is a pretty straightforward but nice course that is fun and can be challenging. A couple par 5's and interesting par 4's. only downside is the houses nestled around the course if you slice or hook a tee shot every now and then. Also you have to be 21 to rent a cart which shocked me since I been renting carts since I was 14 so bring your ID or just look 21. Not sure if they were just BS' ing me or what. But regardless this is our favorite local course and has friendly staff.
Fun course
Forgiving course. It moved slow at times with a couple foursomes ahead of us. But we still got 9 holes done in about 2 hours. Mostly par 4s with a short par 5. Course was in pretty good shape especially for how busy it seemed to be.
Nice course
Late August and the course is drying out. Greens in great condition. Watch out for the homes
Good practice course
King City is a great little practice course that is well maintained. There really aren't many hazards to contend with other than some trees here and there and one hole has a pond you'll need to go around or over. If your itching to get a round in and don't have much time, then King City is a nice place to do that.
A good course for old folks.
I had not played King City for at least a decade until recently. It is in much better condition than I remember, and it is a good place to play for old folks who don't hit it very far any more.
a desireable gc for hobby golfers, good location
Golf course has less difficulties but you still need hit the ball long and straight. Greens are well maintained and putting is not easy. Good for practicing short game.
Waist of time and money.
Absolutly the worst golfing exsperiance I've ever had. The staff argued with me about my reservation, and only let us play 9, instead of 18 like we had exspected to play. We finished the joke of a golf course in an hour and were still hungry for more golf. We drove a mile east to summer field , and satisfied our appetite. Summer field is a much better course and staff for the same price. In a nut shell, I will NEVER be golfing at king city course as long as Im breathing.
Well-maintained older course
Have played here quite a few times since 2010. Easy by most peoples' standards, it is challenging enough for a duffer like me. One hole has water, otherwise there are few hazards, mostly trees. The par 3s are on the longish side, which is why this course rarely has a hole in one. I usually just show up and can tee off right away. The course is located in a senior citizen development, so many of the players are residents. Some are in their 80s and are pretty good. Easy course to walk, though a lot of people use carts.
