Early spring thoughts
The weather was good and the greens were great but the fairways still have a lot of drying out to do. No roll out and plenty of plugging but a few weeks of less rain and it will be great.
Very wet fairways
This is always a fun easy course but this early in the year the fairways we're way to muddy and the iron shots were very hard to hit good. Greens were ok and the Golfnow hot time made it ok as well.
Playable despite recent rains
And most greens are quite smooth and well kept, showing prides and good efforts from the maintenance staff. Thank you!
Nice course
Nice course, little easier then the East course. It was in good condition and seems to be drying out after a wet spring. Still a few rough areas, but over all very good. My only critique would be that we followed a group of six, especially on a holiday weekend.
Great Course
Glendoveer has two courses and both are unique and fun to play. While the course has its challenges the layout is forgiving with a lot of parallel holes that allow you to find wayward tee shots. The course is a little soggy in the winter but what courses aren’t around here
Booking golfnow
They want you to have a twosome for the GolfNow’s deal, sometimes it works to have twosome. I really don’t liked playing with people I don’t no because of Covid. And it still cold & wet.
First time was good enough to come back
West back 9 is Bunch of hills. #15 is a long hike.
Bonus round between storms
For all the rain we have received, the course was in amazing shape. No puddles on the fairways, water in the traps and the greens were quick. Falling leaves made it hard and impossible to find my ball a few time in the middle of the fairway. Very nice overall. Thanks.
Fun course
Played the West Course. It is a fun course in pretty good condition. The greens are almost always in great shape. The biggest problem is the lack of sand in the bunkers, and numerous dry spots in and near the fairways.
Nice little track
Nice little track. Greens were a nice pace for me, and if you got the ball straight you can make birdies. I dont and can’t , but not the courses fault. The only complaint I have is that our group had our balls stolen and then later given back by other players after we asked if they had seen the balls. TWICE. TWOTIMES FROM TWO DIFFERENT GROUPS. Manolo said not to touch other people’s balls and also to not be nasty. I have heard from a few people that glendoveer is a pretty easy couple of courses and they consider them to be more of “practice courses” which may explain people try to tax my gold ball right out from in front of my eyes, but whatever!
