slow
12 members were allowed out in front of us at our planned tee time. player badly and wouldn't let is play thru. nave coming back
had planned to buy clubs here today. not now.
Quirky
Older style track with smallish firm greens. A course you have to play more than once to know where and how to best play certain holes. Not long but more challenging than it appears. Staff was awesome and the pro shop well stocked. Look forward to playing there again.
Amazing green
I often sharing with other golfers that the course at Morgan Crossing Country Club is in great shape, and the putting surfaces are amazing! Congratulations to all of these the crew and the superintendent for an awesome job!
Fun Muni Option in Rochester Area
Played while visiting Rochester area for 2023 PGA Championship. Staff seemed friendly and helpful. They had pull-carts to rent since we walked. Fairly easy walk to play. Course in good shape despite wet conditions. Plenty of dog legs and challenges to keep your course management on alert. I would play here again when visiting Rochester.
The course is coming along nicely.
Since the new owners this course has improved a lot. New range, new carts, some new tee boxes. I enjoy playing here. It is a great course that's close to home. Still some drainage issues but it's overall vastly improved.
Great course
The course is in great condition! The staff not very friendly, also we were on the 5th hole and a 4sum pulled up and went ahead of us ( maybe a outting ) then they left and when we got to the 10th tee there was a 4sum teeing off and we had to play slow golf behind them seemed strange as we were the first ones out at 7:10 , that being said the course is worth playing
Outstanding value
The new owners heave done an amazing job in upgrading the facility. Brand new carts, all new cart paths and a renovation of the bar and grill have really enhanced the pace of play and overall enjoyment in playing this course. The staff is super friendly and they've also dramatically improved the course conditions.
Morgan’s Crossing
I hadn’t played here in maybe 25 years and was pleasantly surprised at the upgrades… greens were clean, newly paved cart paths. Challenging enough! Fun day
Love it...
Hadn't played this course in a while...glad we returned. Well managed and friendly staff. Definitely will return a few more times this season.
Liked the course they’re doing many upgrades. My only concern was that when we made the turn we noticed that they let groups start off the back
Hi, madad1959. We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. Thank you for the 4 stars! We aim for a 5-star experience, so we always welcome feedback for improvement. Thank you for playing Morgan's Crossing.
Greens not built correctly. In good shape, but do not roll well. No ranger. Followed a twosome for 6 holes wouldn’t let me thru. Walked off course.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us, bmayhew. We are going to pass on your feedback to the team. Thanks for visiting Morgan's Crossing, and we hope to see you again in the future.
Good conditions
Played early to avoid the heat and had a pleasant round. Repaired extra ball marks on the greens and they rolled pretty true. There was repaving going on for some of the cart paths which will make those nicer once completed as several areas were showing their age. Hats off to the new owners for investing.
Thanks so much for the great review, bhengenius. We look forward to welcoming you back to our course soon. Thanks for choosing Morgan's Crossing.
Hi, Elcid828. We would love to hear more about your positive experience on our course. Please contact us to share with us your favorite part of your experience. Thanks for golfing at Morgan's Crossing!
Good Afternoon, I'm sorry that you did not enjoy your time at Chili Country Club the other day. The group of gentlemen that played in front of you had tee times just like you. They usually start at 11:30am and are off the tee by 11:55am at the latest. Due to the beautiful day the course was extremely busy, there was 5 open tee times from 8am - Noon (when you teed off). So the tee was backed up and running a little behind the whole day. Remember, we did go out and try to sneak you off the back to make your round a little quicker and more enjoyable for you (since you were a two-some) but that was not possible due to the course being so busy. With the course being so busy my group, (yes, I played directly in front of you and heard you cussing every single tee that you couldn't believe that we were still in the way), saw that letting you play through would not do anything for you or the pace of play since all it would have done is just make us roll up to the tee on every hole with you guys still standing there waiting to hit (we wouldn't of cussed though, only difference). My group played in 4:30 hours on a 70 degree day in October with a full course in front of us. I am not to sure where you normally play but almost every golf course I know would be ecstatic with their course running at a 4:30 hour pace on a very busy day. I suggest you find two more people to play with you , if you can, it will allow you to play at the pace the rest of the course is playing at.
