Meadow Lakes is very good
Meadow Lakes pro staff were very friendly and helpful.
The course was excellent if you stayed on the fairway but challenging if you strayed into the rough. While the first nine were played in just over two hours the second nine was quite a bit slower.
Golf with Buddies
Meadow lakes is a great course for the weekend warrior. Not too difficult but still challenging.
Great course!!
Meadow Lakes is easily the most underated course in central OR and the best bang for your buck!
The course is in excellent condition, all over. The greens are the best around...so fast and so smooth, doesn't get any better than what they are right now.
Stellar layout, and very difficult w/ sand and water strategically placed. Just get out to Prineville and support this course.
First time
Fun course layout with tough, fast & big greens. Course was in excellent condition. Only negative is the 45 min drive from Bend. Otherwise, I would play more often
Nice course; slow play
The course was in good shape, especially the greens which rolled pretty fast and very true. Only complaint was the slow play caused by other golfers that took forever to play a hole. “Ready golf” people, none of us are shooting for the PGA tour!
Beautiful golf course.
It was super windy but we had fun. We actually continued and did another 9! Food was really good.
Meadow Lakes very pretty
Meadow Lakes was well grassed and is an interesting course. There was no delay during the whole round. Although it rained through most the round the course held up well and played very fairly.
FUN COURSE
ALWAYS ENJOY PLAYING THIS COURSE. IN PREVIOUS YEARS ALWAYS WENT INTO THE BAR/CAFE TO HAVE A BEER AND A BURGER. A GLASS OF BEER HAS GONE TO $7.50 WHICH IS THE HIGHEST PRICE I HAVE PAID ANYWHERE IN OREGON. NOW AFTER GOLF I GO INTO REDMOND FOR MY BEER AND BURGER.
Clubhouse Bar
Extremely expensive. Charged me $7.50 for a glass of beer. Stopped in Redmond on the way home and paid $4 for the same beer.
Will play golf there again but go somewhere else for a beer and something to eat after the round.
Great track- if you know your yardage
Been thru twice this week. Both ti
Es pace was good, winds were a factor, and the greens were slow.. was leaving everything short.
Best Value in Central Oregon
I've been playing here for over 20 years and it is still one of my favorite courses. Rarely do you have to search long for balls here, as anything not OB or in the water is most likely in well-kept mowed grass. For March, the greens were impeccable, and fairways were very consistent despite the expected brownness of the time of year. Bunkers were not of the best consistency but still playable.
Although it's a fairly simple, flat layout, rather uncommon for the region, there remains a nice variety in the holes and the location is beautiful in the valley basin surrounded by large hills, canyon walls and some mountains in the distance.
Great course , very slow pace of play , also stacked up groups behind you.
Interesting that after booking a singles time I was paired with 3 others as a shotgun style start. No issues there as I am used to playing with randoms, but the times were stacked up and we had groups hitting into us from behind on almost every hole. Also the course is a ball killer so bring a lot of extra balls.
