Salem Golf Club

this is the best well kept course i have played this year.

The course was in great condition. It is great to look at the old growth cedar trees as the have many shapes.
The play was slow as there was a fivesome four groups ahead of us so there was waiting on every tee instead of continuous play. I have played this course before and this was the first time there was a problem with play.
I will still play it again.

Wonderful landscaping, interesting hole design. friendly staff, fair price. Great experience at Rudy's, though service was a bit slow at dinner (understaffed at patio tables). We ate brunch and dinner there!

The course was in great condition. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I missed my tee time, called about 10 minutes from scheduled time, told them I got held up in traffic. Staff assured me it was no problem and they would get me out anyway. Weather was excellent, course was excellent and I had a great time.

With trees lining nearly every fairway on both sides, there is plenty of challenge for slicers and hookers like me. There was some confusion about the tee time not showing up but the staff bent over backwards to get us in after some waiting time. It was ladies day and play was maybe a little slower than other days. Played with my brother in law who lives in the area as I had played several years ago and the golfnow discount made it very attractive to play again before heading back to Idaho.

What a great course! Whether you are there to compete or just for fun, this course IS golf. The only two things I have to complain about are that I need to severely improve, and the course needs to turn off the sprinklers while golfers are on the course. It's difficult to drive well while water is spraying everywhere on the fairway. Beautiful setting, and you can get very close to nature (a squirrel was interested in my ball on the 17th green).

This is a very well maintained course with challenges for both good and beginning players. Quiet and serene without houses and car noise. Surrounded by large trees and orchard, this is a great place to come play.

Friendly folks! We arrived a little early and were able to get out right away before a couple of larger groups. Played in less then 4 hours. Course was in excellent condition.

Fun to play, beautiful course! Has the feel of a grand old traditional golf course.

I guess it's all about who you get paired up with. I had different people on the front 9 and the back. Both were great company and had overall a good experience at this course. A little wet, but it's that time if year. For as manny trees that surround this course, the greens were pretty clean of debris.

Fall leaves on sides of fairway made it hare to find balls in area and a couple of greens. That is the Fall time. Had a great time.. I like Salem golf course Ill play it again.

This is the oldest course in the area. First time played, will go back. It was very rainy and windy when played, so time was longer than normal. Look forward to playing again.

Play here at least once a month. Beautiful course with old growth trees and challenging but friendly fairways. Greens were plugged not to long ago, so somewhat slow. Decided to ride this time as I usually walk. What a treat! I wish all courses had electric carts. Those gas things remind me of the autorella at Disneyland back in the day.

Love this Course always seems to be a challenge no matter how many times I go.

My first time playing Salem Golf Club. This is an older course but is very well maintained and is in great condition. Pace of play was what I expected, a little slow towards the end as the group I was playing with caught up to a four some that seemed to think they were on the PGA.....outside of this it was a very enjoyable course. Interactions I had with the staff was professional and they were very courteous. Would recommend this course, as I plan on playing here again soon.

Salem Golf Club is a classic and a must play every so often for me. The course is well maintained and the greens are in great condition and very challenging. It is a great walk and the old and tall trees provide a great environment as well as a few challenges. The facilities are very good, too.

This course is a classic country club nestled between tall evergreens. Very peaceful and quite setting. No homes or roadways. Easy walk, all the holes are close together, but the trees give the definition and spacing. Course is in great shape. Greens have very interesting crowning and endulations. Some false fronts and sides offer a good defense of par. Only drawback is pace of play is notoriously slow. If you don't mind a 5 hour round it's a great experience.

Perfect weather, great course, great staff at Salem GC. We enjoyed our round very much. We'll be back!

Great course, well taken care of. Good setting, great clubhouse, decent price. But a horrible pace of play all the time! They need to spread out tee times by a couple minutes and it would fix it
