Great features
This is a well kept fun course .we went for 18 but was cut short due to rain. The Gm Chris, was very nice and would have compensated us,except I paid through golfnow.
Its cool
Played in January on a nice day after weeks of heavy rain. The course dealt with the water rather well considering. The layout is long par 3s and short par 4s. Good mix of water and sand, houses all around. Its kept well and is fun to play.
Not for the long hitters
This course since it’s renovation played very nicely. It’s a great short game iron only course for longer hitters, but not recommend for a full 18 experience. Very narrow in some spots so accuracy is needed. The greens played slow with some distress on them. Clubhouse and snack bar are great and staff were very friendly. Overall I don’t think I’ll be trekking out here to play. But, recommended for beginners, short hitters and folks that live close by.
Thank you for the great rating. We’d love to know what made your experience great!

Nice course
Pretty flat course, not many surprises or dog legs. Well kept greens and fairway. No par 5's but still pretty challenging.
Nice course
A really nice course, lots of open fairways. Only par 3 and 4s, but challenging.
Not what it used to be
Charbonneau was the OGA 2017 Course of the Year. They boast it on a sign outside of the clubhouse. Knowing that it's an executive course will help for those who would otherwise complain about the short layout.
That being said, many of the tee boxes were more sand than grass. The greens had ben recently punched and de-thatched. There was no notice of this in or around the pro shop, nor in booking the tee time on Golf Now.
It plays short with many of the Par 4's drivable. It's a fun diversion for those who have accuracy in their back pocket. For those who struggle off the tee, or struggle to hit where they would like to go, don't be surprised if an angry homeowner comes out for some choice words. The course (all three nine-hole legs) are completely bounded by the houses of the Charbonneau District.
Executive course
It is a very simple course. Mostly retired people. The course difficulty is very low. Not recommended for serious golfers.
