It was like...
Wow, just wow! This may have been my 8th or 9th time playing at Loch Nairn and it will for sure be my last. It was like watching an old, out of shape boxer going back into the ring one last time and seeing him have his jaw broken. This course has all of the proper bones and foundation but it looks as if they may have invested as little as $20 back in to the course over the past 4 years. It is sad to see an old classic course turn to what will probably be another townhome community soon. Oh well and good riddance!
Not good
I played herein the spring and it was pretty bad and its worse now. Uneven tee boxes, fairways dull of mud, and concrete bunkers. This course could be so much better.
Worse cow pasture I ever played
No grass on tee box or the course. If I know that I would have brought some sod. Just a water soaked swamp .looks like they have not spent a dime on this course in years. Just slinging mud all day, so I got what I paid for .
A little underwhelming even for the money
When I asked the pro shop attendant how the course was he giggled, and was pretty honest. Place is up for sale/sold and literally zero money other than mowing is being invested. That’s all ya need to know about Loch Nairn
Looks like they stopped caring...
The course is deteriorating. Rumor is that they will be closing at the end of the season, so it looks like they've stopped putting money into maintenance, Greens are still pretty good (although firm and very fast), but fairways are marginal and tee boxes are terrible.
Nice round on a nice day
Friendly staff. Course was challenging with lots of doglegs which challenge any level golfer
Great surroundings.
Fun course in a great setting. Friendly staff. Tee boxes not in great shape and some water on the course. I guess with the course closing they are not making any improvements.
Nice but.....
Good course but no driving range and most of the bridges look very old and in need of repair. That being said I would go back.
Course itself was on poor condition and pace of play was horrible, we followed a group of 2 and were constantly waiting with a 4 some
Good Course
I play here 3 to 4 times a season. It is well maintained.
