Pleasurable Round
I had always heard that Bethlehem Golf Club was a nice course to play and after completing my first round here, I was not disappointed. The course was in very good shape from tee to green with a good mixture of challenging and picturesque holes. A friend and I got teamed up with a regular player here which helped a great deal in negotiating the layout. The pace of play could have been a little better and I got hit with a golf ball by an idiot playing behind our threesome (Hey genius, how about a Fore!), but otherwise I enjoyed myself immensely and I will definitely come back in the not too distant future.
First time
Decided to hit the twilight at a new course. The staff were helpful with direction. A few of the greens were in rough condition but overall the course was in good condition and well worth the bucks.
Hope to play again
Great course, good condition especially for November
Course was in good shape especially for late October. Greens were punched but still rolled at a good speed. Sand traps are below satisfactory. Good layout of holes. No water or real trouble
excellent course conditions
the second shot will test your game. a good variety of elevated greens and tricky pin positions
Very rough
Lost balls in the rough not good was rushed by groups behind us but was not able to cause of the group in front of us
Still a Great Course
This was my first time playing the Bethlehem Golf Club in probably 25 years. It was in as good a shape as I ever remember it. Now currently residing in NC it was nice playing on bent grass and the condition of all surfaces was great. The weather was great and playing with old friends was special. All in all a wonderful round. The residents of the Lehigh Valley are blessed to have two great municipal courses to play on among the numerous choices in the area.
long course
course plays long. tough greens. starter let us go off early so we could get ahead of school matches. greatly appreciated!!!
Great course
The course was in great condition and the staff and bartender were courteous at all times
Pleasant day
First time playing this course and was pleasantly surprised. The course was in good shape. The weather was hot, however there are a fair amount of trees which provided welcome relief. I played as a single and the two gentlemen I got paired up with were very nice which also contributed to the overall experience. Would definitely recommend.
Awesome!
We played in the rain and the course was awesome!!! Great conditions, and well kept! Definitely check it out!
Friendly people, well kept course
Although a hot, humid day, enjoyed a friendly round of golf. Course was well kept with a lot of workers around. Pleasantly challenging.
If I had to find a complaint, it seemed like the beverage cart was always headed away from us! Was able to get stuff during the turn, however.
I can't say enough good things about the staff. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. This was my second time here, and as enjoyable as the first.
Look forward to coming back.
A good test
Played the Green tees (5800). Keep it in the fairway and you can score. A nice blend of difficult and getable holes.
