Bethlehem Golf Club - Monocacy Course
Bethlehem Golf Club has both a championship course and a nine-hole executive course. The championship Monocracy Course is a demanding layout that will require the use of every club in your bag. Designed by William and Dan Gordon, the course is a local favorite that has a four-star rating from Golf Digest and has been ranked as one of the 100 must-play golf courses in the Philadelphia area. The par-71 layout stretches to just over 7,000 yards from the back tees. The par 3s and par 4s are long, and there are a few reachable par 5s if you can keep it straight. The golf course has a traditional design with narrow, tree-lined fairways. The gently rolling terrain has subtle changes in elevation that can cause some tricky uneven lies. Bethlehem Golf Club's undulating greens require accurate shot placement and they are often protected by strategically placed bunkers

Beautiful fall day
We played the back nine twice due to rebuilding of the sand traps on the front nine. Other than that the course and staff were great. The club house was a nice stop after the golf and the food was delicious. Great day of golf with the wife.
Sunday’s In B Town
Excellent choice for walking 18 if in the area. Nice wide forgiving fairways. Tricky par 3s. Fast hard packed greens.
Course is normally kept up real well, but there are some obvious signs of stress on the fairways. Hard and not much grass on some fairways and within 50 yards of the hole on some holes. Worth the price if you can catch a hot deal, otherwise the value isn’t quite there, but I’d still come back.
Course is always in good condition. Greens are firm and fast. Course is fair if you don't always hit it straight. Some shorter holes and some longer holes. Good variety. Sand traps have sand in them! No water on the course to lose balls. A few fairways were a little burned up. Some greens had a few rough patches. Played in 3.5 hours. Always a good time here. Definitely worth playing.
Normally a good course
Normally a good course but The weather has Done a number on this track. The tee boxes are pretty worked over with weeds . The fairways barely have any grass on them. Normally I enjoy playing this course I couldn’t believe they’re charging full price for the shape that it is in. Hoping they can get it back because I enjoy this place.
Course was in pretty good shape except the bonkers. Did not really have sand in them, more like dirt. Bunker material was not the same for each bunker, even on same hole. Heard they are committing $1.8 million to improvements. Stay tuned for next year.
Tee to Green
This is the 8th different course I played this year and besides the country club ( + $20,000 to join) that my son in law is the golf pro buy far this one was the best. Even the rough was cut at a nice height.
Planning on playing a few more times this year now that I’m a little more familiar with the course.
Fantastic muni course
I have been playing this golf course for almost 40 years now. It went from a general public golf course to an awesome public play golf course. Due to the conditions being so fantastic it does see a lot of play. The fairways look just like country club fairways. Greens were smooth and fast. There are a lot of hackers out there on a Friday Saturday and Sunday so pace of play could be slow. It’s a long golf course, challenging, but worth playing. Afterwords it’s a must to go into the Clubhouse Grille. You can sit outside by the parking lot or you can go to the front of the building and sit on the outside patio. I personally recommend the patio by the parking lot. You get to watch the number one and 10 tee box as well as 18th green. The bar restaurant inside, is very nice with numerous TVs. The bartending staff are out of this world. They are second to none
From check in and the Starter, everyone was extremely welcoming, accommodating and helpful. It was an excellent experience and afternoon,
Greens rolling true
I play here a few times each year. Sunday was the first time this year. Impressed with the greens. They rolled true and were quicker than in the past. Many trees have been removed. Overall I wad pleased with the entire course.
Grass is just starting to grow infor early. the course is completing some much needed course work and updates. bGC could be a great track if the improvements are completed and the greens match the other upgrades
The course was in good shape
the leaves were cleared from fairways
there was some construction on a few holes and they had temporary greens
that was the only drawback
otherwise everything went well
Course is in awful shape now
This course was in great shape at the beginning of the season and now it awful. Greens are punched and sanded, hardly any grass on fairways. Not worth the 25 bucks.
