cow pasture
The fairways are so high they are like roughs.I have seen pastures on farms mowed better and lower. The greens were brown, slow and high? The gulf carts were dirty and trash still in them. The only good things were the food and that there was only a few players there so the pace was good. Could be a good course if it was taken care of.
first and last time
I played by myself and found only one other group which let me pass so the pace was fine. But the course... a few of the 18 holes have defined fairways. The rest have steady rough for the entire hole. Greens were like shag carpet and would have made a nice fairway. The layout is horrible. I considered playing behind the other group so they could show me which direction I should hit. I wouldn't recommend to anyone unless you plan once a year. Worst layout I've ever seen and the condition was only beat for worst by cherry wood
Good, Inexpensive practice course
Inexpensive course to practice. Conditions are not the greatest, but the course is inexpensive. Hard to navigate for first time players.
course not in even fair cont
course fair ways are the worst I have ever played the lay out was not any better . would never play this again
Inbetween a pitch and putt and a normal course
First off if you want a course to improve your iron game then this'll be the place for you. If you were looking for an actual golf course to play on with fairways, approaches, fringes, nicely mown greens and tee boxes then look elsewhere. Its unfortunate no scorecard was uploaded because it could've shown was we were heading into. The overall yardage on the course was 5000 yards. There was a stretch of par 4s on the back where the yardage was anywhere from 230 to 260 so nothing difficult at all. The par 5 to start the back was a 420 yard hole where at the normal distance is a manageable par 4 so it was just a weird layout of a course with even weirder yardages that left an iron shot and a chip to get you on the green in every hole. The greens were definitely in need of being mowed (they were basically a little shorter than your average fringe length.) Didn't really know what we were getting ourselves into on this course and I can't say I've ever seen so many people wearing cutoffs and jeans on a golf course. Thankfully it was cheap so not too much harm done. Just giving the first review of this course for anyone actually looking for a serious round of golf.
