unplayable
course was soaked. After trying to play on second
hole ball plugged in middle of fairway and I could not find. walking back to cart my foot sunk up to the ankle and then I quit covered in mud.
Slow play and wet
Slow greens, rough extremely long due to wet weather and sand unplayable. Not a good experience
aeration
back nine getting aerated had to play front nine twice front nine so so needs some tender loving care, overall it was a good day
Decent Course
Had some fun holes, conditions not all too great but would go back paying $20 or less.
Nice
It's a decent course which is steadily being improved back to where it once was. The greens are nice as are the fairways. The sand traps are so-so. The main problem is the roots of the trees which are growing above the ground in many places. Because of this several cart paths are kind of bumpy. If our ball lands within these roots we just take relief without penalty, no sense hurting yourself or ruining your clubs. All in all the course is well worth the price to play.
Exceeded Expectations
I didnt expect much from the very reasonably priced greens fee. But the course far exceeded all my expectations. For playing in late October, the course was immaculate, leaf management was better than much higher priced courses. Greens, Fairways, and Bunkers were in great condition. Course was very challenging while being pleasantly flat in a very mountainous area.
Long time visitor
Course has changed ownership a few times in the last 20+ years, looks to be in good hands now. quite a few improvements in the last two. Always a pleasure; the back side is very scenic with two sweet par 5s. An excellent value and a nice layout.
