Beechwood Golf Club
Beechwood Golf Club opened in 1995 as a nine-hole course. The now-18-hole layout got new owners in 2013 and with the new ownership came a host of updates and improvements but the fun, straightforward character was maintained. The course is more playable while still being a challenge, making it appealing for players of all skill levels. Beginners will find the 6,485-yard layout very approachable. The front nine provides a gentle start to the course. It's mostly wide-open with wide, forgiving fairways. There are opportunities to build up your score before diving into Beechwood Golf Club's tougher back nine. The layout narrows and there are more trees as well as more bunkers. Though there are a few challenges in store, including one hole with an island green, it's a player friendly round overall.

Played here a bunch of times over the years. Always fair pricing and super friendly staff. The course has some fun holes. Really good conditions for the price and time of year.
Course was great, staff very accommodating and manger assisted in righting a wrong (computer Tee time mishap) appropriately which tells me they value their customers and their continued business. Will be back for sure!
Great course, great value
Very nice owners and employees. Well maintained greens and fairways. Cart paths are a little rocky. Overall, 4.5 / 5 stars!!!
Nice course, nice people
second round there. some of the holes are pretty challenging, no 1 being an example;
Challenging holes for a number of reasons. Condition of greens were good to very good however it was difficult to hold a green on an approach shot. Color of flags made them difficult to see. 3 par 3’s from the whites at 170 or more made it difficult for the average white t guy. Lots of water that is very difficult to see without a very nice complimentary course book. Tee boxes need work. With all the water around this course could be a plush , well groomed course. Some holes remind me of a few Myrtle Beach courses we have played. Keep workin it. We will be back
Sparse grass, hard ground!
The course is not the best with things they don't have much control over. Road noise from the interstate, hard clay based dirt that doesn't grow grass well.
The greens were ok and easy to read but not flat so lots of fun and extra practice putting!
Food and service was great and the staff very nice!
Staff was great, very friendly and informative. The day i was playing there was a monsoon of rain the day before, so there was allot of standing water. Greens were very forgiving. It was very foggy the first 7 holes, and I couldn’t see much.
Several Challenging Holes
Great round of golf. Had never played here before and at check in I was given a yardage book on the course. Very helpful distances were within. Several holes are challenging due to water hazards. #10 is short but is an island green which makes it challenging. Fairways are not plush but are very well maintained.
Course was very wet due to heavy rainfall over night. Staff was fantastic. Group of 4 held the pace up first 9 ranger did come out and talked to them they did allow a 2some and 2 singles thru but held up our 2some for 4 holes and also 2 4somes. They did stop after 9 and the group's they held up went thru without issues
This round was good although they had aireated and it was bumpy . The spots on this course that they leave unmowed to make it more difficult id very different for me !
