Lenape Heights Golf Course
About
Located at the center of Armstrong County, Lenape Heights Golf Resort is only minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. This public golf course has an accessible 18-hole layout for players of all skill levels. There are a few challenges to contend with including strategically placed sand traps and lakes, but the course is gentle enough for players of all skill levels. The golf course is one of the best values in the area, not only offering a solid round but immaculately manicured fairways and some of the best greens in the area. The front nine has wide-open fairways and the back nine gets a bit tighter. There are some good driving holes and you'll get some short game practice as well. Lenape Heights finishes with a tough uphill hole with a blind approach to the severely sloped green.

Best golf course in Armstrong County
Great value, friendly staff and a great place to eat and drink after a round of golf. Lovely golf course with beautiful scenery all around.
Course was in perfect shape. Green were fast and true.
Nice grass, poor layout
Well taken care of golf course. Not many places where the grass is struggling - not rough, not fairway, not greens. The few bunkers are also in pretty good shape which it seems every course in western PA has unplayable bunkers these days. That being said on a personal level in my 26 years playing golf 7-9 (I think they used to be 16-18) are 3 of the dumbest golf holes I have ever encountered. The first two the green is so far below you in elevation you cant see it from 75 yards away and the 3rd the green is so far elevated above you there is little hope of hitting the green outside of 100 yards. Theres a lot of blind tee shots as well.... I dont mind a couple of those but it seems like half the shots you hit on this course are blind.
Fun layout to play. Greens are great through the summer
Good day
Good course, golfing always makes for a good day.
Only problem was the threesome ahead of us three played slower, we had to wait at every hole. They never showed any golf courtesy to let us play through. Finally on the back nine, we skipped hole 11 & played it later and didn't have to wait again. No thanks to the first group.
Couldn't beat the price
First time playing this course and was not disappointed. The layout was great and made you think about which club you were hitting on a number of holes. Some of the tee boxes were hard, but that was understandable after a week of hot weather prior. Overall having to only pay 25 dollars was a great deal and would definitely go again and suggest it to anyone.
due to storm power was out but staff did everything in their power to accommodate us and others.
course was in great condition. will definitely play there again.
Nice Cource
The golf course and people were great, The only issue was the power outage. We were unable to get a cold drink or something to eat. Other then that, it was a nice day.
This is one of my favorite courses
The course could have used a manicure. It is always in good to excellent shape. If you have a chance to play Lenape, you will not regret the challenge. I travel an hour and fifteen minutes to play a round there.
Lenape Heights
Overall a great course. They tend to keep the greens a little slow for my liking. Hard to find your ball in the rough.
