Lenape Heights Golf Course
About
Located at the center of Armstrong County, Lenape Heights Golf Resort is only minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. This public golf course has an accessible 18-hole layout for players of all skill levels. There are a few challenges to contend with including strategically placed sand traps and lakes, but the course is gentle enough for players of all skill levels. The golf course is one of the best values in the area, not only offering a solid round but immaculately manicured fairways and some of the best greens in the area. The front nine has wide-open fairways and the back nine gets a bit tighter. There are some good driving holes and you'll get some short game practice as well. Lenape Heights finishes with a tough uphill hole with a blind approach to the severely sloped green.

Course condition
We are having an extremely dry stretch of weather but found the course to be in very good condition. Tee boxes were a little hard but the rest of the course was much better than expected. Greens were excellent. Had a great day.
Lenape
Played many years ago
Was bought and prices went up found deal on golf now, after finishing up at Apollo elks.
Course is well worth new rates the course is totally new now and was in great shape.
Have to really work on loosing balls because everything is cut nice
Thanks
Average course
Course was very average for a resort course. Greens were very slow and not receptive. Clubhouse and bar is super nice. Cheap prices and really good food.
In great shape
Played our weekly foursome at Lenepe last week in July. Great weather, July summer heat. Seniors tees made those for happy seniors. Spring rain had the course in great shape for mid-summer. Greens and fairways were in excellent condition. Club house is always first class, lunch menu.
Very nice
Beautiful facility as well as the course. The Ranger needed to come around more often because there was a very slow group in front of us that would not let us play through. The Ranger eventually helped us.
Lenape
I hadn't played this course in a couple years. It has been completely reworked and they did a great job. The pro shop and restaurant are very nice. Although we didn't use the restaurant I heard the food is very good. Regular golf pricing is a little more than my group cares to pay but the specials are very reasonable. Look forward to a return trip.
First time tough course
Shorter course. Lots of elevation which makes for hard second shots. Greens were in very good condition. 3 hr round with no one in front of us.
Many challenges await the average to beginner golfer.
Lenape has had many upgrades to improve play. The only negative would have to be the tee boxes. The majority of them need leveled. The golfer should not be at an disadvantage on the tee.
Great CDourse
The course was in great shape. The greens were recently aerated but putted true and were fast and will only improve. The pro shop employee was very helpful and pleasant. The dining facilities are great. Will definitely play this course again. There is also a small hotel at the facility so would be a good spot for a golf outing.
Nice course
nice course to play. the only issue was that the front 9 was closed when we arrived due to scheduled maintenance. they should not have had tee times for 18 holes when they close 1/2 of the course. we did end up being able to play the front 9, had to bounce around holes as they completed their work. still a good course to play any other time.
Lenape day
A really nice course. Ranger did a great job finding a wedge left on second nine. Excellent greens, tees and fairways. Sand also in great shape. Beautiful course!
Lenape-Far Out
Price was excellent ($13.00) Golf Now,so cannot complain.
Greens were recently aerated and #18 needs some patch work from the aerator digging up chunks of the front-side of the green. Several holes had leave issues but this is to be expected this time of the year.
Only one other 3-some on the course-so we( two) finished in about 3+ hours. Took almost as long going and coming from the course than it took to play! .Have summer specials 4 for $100 and would not want to pay anymore than $25 for 18 . Neat course, and nice facilities.
Great Course
Great course and exceptional value for the price. Very scenic holes and course kept in excellent condition.
Great layout
Beautiful conditions for the fall. Green were aerated but not as bumpy and slow as you woud expect. The course itsefl was immaculate. Well worth the price and looking forward to playing it again in the spring
Beautiful conditions challenging holes
Overall the course was in beautiful condition even post aeration of one half. This is very visually appealing as well. The only questionable or throw away hole would be the last number 18, which my advise would be to blow up the hillside in front of the green or fill it in somehow! Otherwise 17 very nice sculptured fairways and nice large testing greens!
Very sporadic play this day even for a beautiful WP fall day.....
Nice Course
This course is an EXCELLENT course for $38 or less. The normal rate on weekends is $55, which is way too high. It's not a $55 course and didn't used to be. I think the price was increased to $55 because they built a resort hotel, and the hotel costs shouldn't be rolled into the greens fees, especially when you only want to play golf. It is well maintained and in great shape. #18 is an ugly hole, but otherwise the course has some nice holes. I will definitely play here again.
One of my favorite courses.
The course was in great shape and the greens were very well maintained. The greens putted pretty true.
I would play here any chance I got,
This course has a very a challenging back nine
Everything was very good. Nice fairways,, good tee boxes. Greens were very Receptive,, but very slow putting. (Could be a little faster)
Nice layout
This isn't a $50 golf course but we got a deal on Golf Now.com. The course has a very friendly layout and would be enjoyable for all level of players. The course was in great shape and the facilities were first class. Only thing missing is a driving range. The staff was very friendly also.
