A Good Value and a Challenging Golf Course
Cedar Ridge is a fair golf course that rewards you for staying in the fairway and penalizes you if your ball flies wide left or right as a good course should. The greens are in good shape, but the sand traps are hard and shallow, perfect for chipping out of instead of splashing the ball out.
Sparse Fariways
I know there was a drought and a burn ban in the area this summer.. Fairways have of bare areas.. may need to move the ball if you are just out to have fun. Tee boxes.. I had no issues getting my tee in, even though they have sparse areas too. Greens were very nice.. some slower than others
Friendly
Played a very quick round and fellow players had knowledge knew that it was respectful to let faster players play thru. At least 5 groups allowed me to play thru. Played a mid day Sunday round 2.5 hrs.
Not Bad for the money.
Fairways kind of dry, bunkers need serious work, greens were in great shape.
My biggest takeaway from this experience is to call the Pro Shop to book. I paid $35 each for 18 with a cart, so not bad. When I got to the course to finish paying, they offered Military Discounts and junior (17 and under) prices that would have been $33 for me and $18 for my daughter. Which would have saved me $19.
I would golf here again.
