Macoby Run Golf Course

I drive an extra 30 mins plus just to play this course. I have local courses but not as well kept as this one. Always fun to play. Every time I get paired up with other people they tell me the same thing. I have even been paired up with people from Jersey that come to play this course. My only recommendation is that they get a ranger to keep pace of play, the back 9 tends to get bottled up. Great course though and great people!

We have played this course for years and have never seen and play better! From check in to time we left the service was amazing!

Course was in good shape even with all the rain. Met two gentleman and played at a nice pace. Enjoy the round.

The course was in good condition. The pace of play was not very good. The back nine pace was extremely slow.

5 star course for the cost.
Challenging yet pretty straightforward for any level golfer.

105 minutes of golf before a busy day. Course is in great shape. Beautiful setting. Good value for money. Great staff. If this doesn’t appeal to you then stay in bed.

The greens were aerated and they were very bumpy! The course did not communicate this information either on social media or even at the course!

Course was in excellent shape. Greens had recently been aerated so there were not many players. We never had to wait and no one was ever behind us. Only minor drawback was the cart which struggled to get up hills and which slowed us down on flats. The course is pretty much wide open but fair. Somewhat hilly. Some of the shots are blind but we had a very enjoyable time.

I enjoy my round and played with a twosome I previously met. The course was in good shape and the greens ran true.

My foursome had a great time playing this wonderful course! Tucked away through a small road of green lane park It does not look like much when you arrive until you get on the first tee and immediately see what’s in store for the day :) A beautiful rolling hills well maintained layout with great views!!. I would rank it among the best in the region for public courses. Greens, tee boxes, and fairways were nicely done. This is a Course that requires you to think twice about what tees you’re playing from because you will be challenged if you make the wrong choice. Only downside of the course is the lack of food options. Only Hot dogs available but plenty of snacks, drinks, and beers. A must play to any golfer who enjoys a solid but fair test of your game.
