Mount Odin Golf Course

The course was in great shape. The leaves were blown off. The carts were great.

I'm almost hesitant to say what a great deal this golf course is, as I'm fearful it will draw a crowd. Excellent conditions, somewhat challenging( certainly not easy), and very good pace of play (3 of us played in 3HRS).

I've played Mt. Odin for years, and never seen it in as good as shape as today.

Have played here at least 5 times this year. One of the better maintained courses around. greens are exceptional even after aeration of the greens. great job and greens are smooth and true. play was quick and leaves were cleaned up so did not have to hunt to much for balls. will play again and recommend if want a nice round of golf.

My tee time was for 2:15 in which I arrived 10 minutes early, but didn't get to tee off until 3:15.
The staff made me and 3 other "Golf Now" members wait until a group that was still on the back nine play through and finish on the front nine.
When I asked the staff member and the Ranger why we couldn't start and have them follow us when they eventually reached us, was given the explanation that they didn't want to break up their group. So we waited for close to an hour for them to reach us before they let us tee off.
I understand that circumstances sometimes create delays, but this made me feel like I was a "second class" golfer that had to wait for the more important golfers to play through.
BTW, they were all terrible golfers of the 12 of them except for a few and there was one male golfer who was teaching a female golfer for the first 4 holes, who routinely hit for about 30 yards most of the time. Thank God they let me play through after awhile.
I've golfed here before any never experienced any problems and had the staff treat me in a friendly manner, but was seriously frustrated and disappointed this time.

There are many slopes on this course.
You will need to keep your ball straight or you will most likely be in a world of trouble.
We had lots of fun when we played.
